“First time visiting, I ordered the pastrami on rye sandwich and it was very delicious. The pastrami melted in my mouth.. When I walked in the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and accommodating.. The service was good. I definitely will be back and recommend this place!!!“
“We recently had high priced burgers at an upscale eatery: Paragon's burgers beat them hands down - juicy, tasty, perfectly medium-rare burgers. And the usual lovely service. This has become our new favorite place, not just because of the excellent food but because of the genuine, down-to-earth people who make it happen.“
“We only went for some ice cream, my husband always goes with my daughter to eat ice cream, I don't eat ice cream because of my diet, but today I accompanied them and I loved it, I ate it all, something I never do because I'm not a sweet lover, but this ice cream cookie with hot chocolate I loved it, I recommend it.“
“This place is amazing!!! Burgers, pizza , wings, can’t go . Plus live music on the weekends . I went there with my fiancé and daughter and we had a blast . Staff was amazing and the owner Brian was really nice as well . Can’t wait to go “
“Group luncheon for a repass. Great Food, excellent service. Wonderful menu choices. Liquor served at this establishment. Plenty of parking. It's a diner, nothing fancy, but you will enjoy yourself. I had the Philly Cheese Steak with Cole Slaw and pickle.? Make a nice Sangria pitcher, and Yeungling on tap.Parking: Parking in their own lot, ample.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking as well as ramp to establishment.“
“Great experience. Friendly staff! We needed a hotel for a layover in Newark airport. We were able to book on the same day and do a late check out to have enough time to rest and recover before our next flight. Will come again. Thank you Holiday Inn Clark - Newark Area ?“
“I usually never rave about Applebee's ?, but this location is the best I've been to. Had the chicken 3 cheese penne and the chicken was juicy, melt in your mouth good and the penne perfectly cooked, the bruchetta tomatoes were fresh and petite diced. You could actually taste the vinegarette that they were tossed in all the way through. Clearly could see & taste the fresh grated parmasean cheese and the alfredo sauce was also juicy to the bottom of the plate. Even the breadstick was still most from the garlic butter and crisp and airy. Will definitely be coming back to try more than my safe dish ?.“
“First time in this location . Never knew there was a chilis here . Its tough to spot it when we come thro GSP and take a left to go to Edison. Good parking facilities . Lots of space outside . Location wise it’s good but I wish it was a little more visible . Service was good yesterday . Was very quick .Food is good . Wish they have much more veggie options . Otherwise I like their food once in a while . Chips and salsa was good . They have really good beer varieties and IPAs. .. overall a good experience . ??“
“We had a team luncheon here, and it was great. ? Hence why it wouldn't be appropriate for me to take pictures of our food when being treated for lunch. Beautiful, great atmosphere. Appetizers were pesto flatbread, lump crab cake, grilled artichokes, and slow roasted meatballs. Entrees were Maui tuna salad, steak tacos, and chicken caprese sandwich. Dessert was carrot cake and strawberry ca nnoli. Everything was good. Wish dessert was not in a shotglass.“
“Came here for the first time for a collaborative event with the Cranford Theater - dinner and a movie (The Godfather). I have nothing but rave reviews of Garlic Rose. The herb and oil dip that they serve with warm bread is to die for. I had one of the best (if not, the best) Chicken Franceses here that I’ve ever had. To top it off, the service was great too. I can’t wait to return!“
“Got a few items from this grill since it was pretty close to where I was staying. Standard French toast breakfast sandwich, hashbrowns(three come in the side order), french toast sticks, and a kielbasa omelette special with seasoned potatoes.Food was pretty good. Wanted a bit more vanilla and cinnamon flavors with certain items I ordered. I think they have options to meet a lot of needs.“
“I dont even like hot dogs! This place changed my mind! The alligator dog with the shrimp on top wow! Must try! Great drinks, amazing servers that are very knowledgeable about the menu. Super cool ambiance. They even have a little arcade room. Just Go!“
“Overall satisfied with the service that I had received. There’s an unlimited amount of food options on the menu & I must say I love them all. If you are in the area & in the mood for traditional Mexican cuisines then this is the right place for you! Enjoy!“
“Estime's Cafe in Colonia isn't just another breakfast spot; it's a celebration of Haitian culture and culinary artistry on a plate. From the moment you step inside, the warm aroma of spices and the friendly smiles of the staff transport you to a world of delicious possibilities. The menu at Estime's is a symphony of fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I dove headfirst into the Pastrami Egg Benedict, a unique twist on the classic dish that had my taste buds doing a joyful jig. The pastrami was perfectly seasoned and tender, harmonizing beautifully with the creamy hollandaise and perfectly poached egg.But the true star of the show was the Fluffy Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Now, I'm not usually a pancake person, but these were revelatory. Light and airy, bursting with zesty lemon zest and ricotta's creamy goodness, they were a revelation. Each bite was a cloud of happiness, and I dare you to find someone who wouldn't be won over by them. (Seriously, I am not a pancake person, and even I'm singing their praises!)Estime's Cafe is more than just delicious food; it's an experience for the senses. The friendly staff, the vibrant vibe, and the infectious energy make you feel welcome and appreciated. It's a place where you can relax, savor the flavors, and enjoy the fun upbeat music that they have playing through the speakers first thing in the morning.I cannot wait to come back here and try their other offerings, I have my eye on their Amaretto Brioche French toast for my next time.“
“I must say The Yard Newark is one of the best things that has happened to Newark. Kai set the tone for his staff and the environment there. I consider myself as a Customer Service expert with 20+ years under my belt. The customer service is amazing and inviting. The environment has its own special vibe. It is nice, clean and cozy at The Yard making every customer feels like family. Last but not least “the food!!” The food is beautiful, awesome and so good.I brought my 76 year old auntie in and Kai took her order and catered to her every need and she loved it so much. That’s just Kai, he treats everyone that way. I’m so looking forward to so much more with The Yard ⭐️“
“This is the first time I have came here and it was a really good experience, nice bartender, the owner Mike was a delight. They made good drinks and the wings.. THE BEST , I have had in years. Would visit here more often if we lived nearby, highly recommend this place.“
“An all around great experience! Food was delicious, a great variety mixed with some classic dishes, so there is something for everyone. The shrimp appetizer was incredible. Cocktails were delicious with great wine selections as well. Atmosphere was bustling and busy but not loud and somehow still maintained intimacy and the ability to have a conversation. I will definitely be back!“
“Our first time here. What a surprise it was when we walked in the door and was greeted by a friendly hostess and even friendlier bartenders. Even though our table was ready, the hostess let us enjoy our cocktails at the bar with no stress. Once we entered the dining room, it was an amazing experience from the moment we sat down till we were done. The food, the service, the ambience was on par!! The only thing that was a little annoying was the waiters trying to fit behind me to serve the other table but this can easily be fixed by giving a little more separation Between tables but nothing that negated the rest of what is great about this place. Bravo!! Can't wait to come back!!“
“Phenomenal service, food and drinks. Oysters, colossal shrimp, lamb chops, wine, cocktails, crème brûlée and lava cake. The only thing I can say is that I can't wait to return. Everything was so delicious and seasoned just right. I recommend for a special dinner, birthday or even a date. It was amazing.“
“SMASHVILLE's smash fries are an absolute game-changer! The combination of perfectly cooked spicy beef patties, crispy fries, melted cheese, and savory onions is simply irresistible. Each bite is bursting with flavor and texture, creating a mouthwatering experience unlike any other. If you haven't tried their smash fries yet, you're definitely missing out on a culinary delight that's worth every bite!Parking: No parking available there usually“
“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? Or maybe they were just that nice). I only tried one because my husband is the one that loves wings the most, but I really enjoyed this one too!\\n\\nService was great! I expected it to be more self service, but they were very involved and made sure to explain what needed to be explained, and to ask about our meal.\\n\\nI'm not doing great at explaining, so I'll let the photos speak for themselves!“
“Harvest Bistro is absolutely incredible! This has been a favorite lunch spot of ours for years. We also recently worked with them to cater my son's baptism party and we were so impressed. Every single guest commented on how delicious the food was. Several people even told us it was the best food they had ever had from a caterer. Tushar is so helpful and easy to work with too. We'll definitely be going back to Harvest Bistro for all of our future parties!“
“Food is fantastic and customer service is amazing. If you’re in the area you need to definitely drop by and grab a byte. They have a variety of things and they can custom anything you desire. Also LEO discount are offered which is a plus!“
“This place is top notch across the board!! We love coming here - the food is always amazing and steps of service are always met! A true gem!Kid-friendliness: Ribs are our son’s fave! Honestly I don’t even know if they have a kids menu.“
“I am not hyping this up nor am I going to tell you a lie. The food is fresh and taste amazing. My daughter ordered my food from here yesterday. I enjoyed it so much so I tried to save myself some for today. I couldn’t do it. So I came back today and the same results. The spices and taste danced on my tongue. Thank you. She even gave me something to taste since I never had it and omg perfect!! I definitely recommend and she has a customer for life.“
“My husband and I went here for breakfast and the service was 5 star. Our server, Donnette, was exceptional, she was very polite and thoughtful. She made sure to check in on us every now and then to make sure we were good. Her attentiveness and care for her customers satisfaction is definitely top tier!!! Thank You Donnette! You Rock!!!“
“No frills, throwback diner. Both in the ambience and the prices, which seem frozen in the early 2000s. Cash only, often with a line this is a local institution that's worth visiting if you enjoy crab benedict. Our little ones also like the French toast.“
“One of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long time! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich hit the spot! The pataka fries were amazing!! Huge portions and I can't wait to come back and try the chicken and waffles.Parking: Restaurant is on the main street so have ro drive around to find street parking.“
“Stopped in to check out the place for a private party. Had a quick fancy drink, that was amazingly delicious! The owner is very friendly and the place is as clean as a whistle! Definitely coming back hereParking: Had to circle around a few times to find parking. Someone left so I was lucky!“
“Probably the best restaurant in Staten Island right now. Food was excellent, service was perfect, the restaurant is amazing and you have a great piano player setting the tone. Quinoa meatballs? Sounds crazy but amazing! We'll be back many times for sure! Thank you for a great evening!“
“Customer for years. Friendly service, quick pick up time, and literally the best pizza within 10 miles.Actual pizza with a fantastic sauce. LARGE slices if you come in for a quick slice and quick service if you're pressed for time. Not overpriced like many places in the area.Dinners are a good deal and the chicken parm never disappoints.“
“Layout/atmosphere*Chrome exterior, old school sign (almost a mini truck stop for breakfast/lunch); six seat counter; need to walk outside to access men’s bathroom; three tables outside; parking lotService*FriendlyFood/drink*Double hamburger [1/2 lb patty] with cheese (on seeded roll) & French fries - really good; patty was juicy, roll held up; fries were crinkle cut style, crispy“
“Definitely a five star experience!!! We arrived just before happy hour ended (4-5:30) and they were kind enough to place a quick order of oysters!!! They were super fresh and delicious... favs were west coast (sorry NJ). Next, came the Parker rolls!!! Probably my favorite part of the meal, but then again, who doesn't like homemade, freshly baked rolls with buttered top and a touch of salt!!! Because everything looked so good, we opted for a bunch of other appys to start! The New Zealand angus beef bites were served with horseradish aioli and a Parker roll, the halloumi cheese was accompanied by orange slices, prosciutto, radicchio and dehydrated olives. The octopus was spectacular... crispy with romanesco sauce, fried chickpeas, cilantro and paprika breadcrumbs. Of course, we had to also try the OHS mussel pot... with chorizo, saffron, garlic cream, sun dried tomatoes... and an herbed garlic roll on top!!! LOVED THEM ALL! It's not often that so many different, but complimentary flavors are presented in each dish!!! We could have stopped our meals there and would have been pleasantly satisfied and full! Next, we chose a couple of the sirloin sandwiches with fries, and the squid ink pasta with Calabrian chili and Meyer lemon breadcrumbs!!! All was very good. The evening was finished with 3 of their delicious desserts... the lemon meringue tart was the perfect sweet with a pucker. The molten dark chocolate cake was decadent. And the trio of gelatos were each so uniquely flavorful and delicious! Wow!!! Given that 100 steps is a BYOB, it makes everything even more affordable! We had spectacular service in this beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It was quite a special evening!“
“As a regular customer of the restaurant, I have always admired Danielle's dedication to excellent service and flavorful dishes. So, when it came time to plan my daughter's graduation party in the park for 100 guests, I knew exactly who to trust for catering - Danielle and her team!Right from the start, Danielle proved herself to be a true professional. Punctuality is often overlooked, but not with Danielle's catering service. She arrived on time and fully prepared to set up without any hiccups or excuses. The efficiency and seamless coordination of her staff were remarkable, allowing me to step away from the setup for an hour, knowing that everything was in capable hands. One aspect that truly impressed me was Danielle's attention to detail and foresight. The unpredictable weather forecast made us anxious about rain during the event, but Danielle had it all under control. Her team was prepared with umbrellas for the grill, ensuring that rain wouldn't dampen the spirits of our guests or the grilling process. As the party unfolded, the compliments from my guests started pouring in. They were captivated by the impeccable presentation and, most importantly, the outstanding quality of the food. Danielle's catering service offered a delectable range of dishes that catered to different tastes and dietary preferences, leaving every guest satisfied and asking for more.I can't express how many guests requested Danielle's contact information for their upcoming events. It's a testament to her exceptional catering service, which not only impressed me, a seasoned customer, but also left a lasting impression on everyone at the party.Without a doubt, I will be hiring Danielle for all my future events. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and delectable creations guarantee a successful and memorable occasion. If you're searching for a catering service that goes above and beyond, look no further than Danielle's. I can vouch for her excellence, and I am confident you'll be just as delighted as I am.“
“The hubby and I tried Tommy’s in Carteret this afternoon. Homemade chili, no beans. Nice, smooth bit of heat. It was good. I believe they are using a Sabrett hot dog. The onion rings were EXCELLENT! Everything was fresh and very tasty. This family has been selling hot dogs in the Carteret and Rahway area since the very early 1960’s. Jimmy who is the son of the original owner, Tommy was very friendly. He couldn’t have been happier to explain his menu offerings to us, and partake in some friendly conversation. Four hot dogs with two toppings on each, an order of onion rings, and a Diet Coke was $19. There are a couple of outdoor tables to sit at, or a no frills trailer to sit in. It’s not a fancy place, but we weren’t there for fancy. We were there for some good dawgs, and we got them. We will definitely be back for more, and to try the freshly made burgers and cheesesteaks.?“
“OMG!!! Talk about a little nook In my neighborhood!!! I love everything about this place! Food is delicious, Prices are average, and the atmosphere and feel of the place is cozy!! It is B.Y.O.B. and I think this is the best thing that could've happened in this neighborhood! I love it !! Oh and the staff are very helpful.“
“Best breakfast in Newark! Legendary spot! Every time I come to my hometown, I try my hardest to make it here! All of the food is amazing! The staff is personable, fun, and easy to talk to. My family and I love us some Mr. Burgundys!I normally scrap the plate but this morning baby !! That food was soooo good!I’m like I need to write a review !“
“How can I describe the incredible experience at Town Bar + Kitchen? After a long transit flight and a craving for a comforting meal, I wasn't expecting this level of hospitality. The waitress, showing remarkable attention, asked the kitchen to prepare a plate of Mac and Cheese especially for me... early in the morning! This simple but meaningful act demonstrates their commitment to customer service. The team spirit and friendliness of the staff was palpable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it was simply delicious. The Mac and Cheese was both comforting and tasty, served in generous portions, which perfectly satisfied my post-flight appetite.I am totally won over by Town Bar + Kitchen. Their ability to go above and beyond standard customer service expectations and their flavorful food make me highly recommend this restaurant. I can't wait to go back on my next visit.A big thank you to Rosemary and the entire Town Bar + Kitchen team for making my day exceptional!Ama“
“At last minute on labor day weekend we was searching lunch and dinner catering for our Wearhouse staff where we found this place on google. with in two hour they have provide lunch sandwiches, beverage & chips for our 175 afternoon staff and they also provide dinner for our 150 evening staff. all there sandwiches was made with fresh sliced meat and cheese and fresh veggies.....we definitely order again from this place....we thank them for taking care of us at last minute....thank you so much...“
“Took my mom to Papermill for the afternoon play with lunch prior at the Carriage House. It was a very nice afternoon for both of us. Nostalgic for my mom who used to frequent. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were seating immediately. Sat in the room with the fireplace which was very nice. Our meal was delicious. The menu had a nice variety of options to please our palettes down to dessert. Service was personable and professional. Received meals promptly without feeling rushed. Had ample time for the quick walk to the theater. My mom uses a cane and needs time and assist so the environment was accommodating for maneuvering. Bathroom is located in the busy path of the kitchen but there doesn't seem any other option unless waiting till the theater but it's crowded to maneuver there so best at the Carriage House we felt. A memorable day for my mom and I.“
“My husband and I we went to I hop yesterday it was a late night run and it was a good experience. When we got there the hostess she was nice and welcoming.. she sat us down waited for a couple of minutes came back got order and drinks.. she should have wrote down the order. I got the turkey sausages, eggs whites, pankes and grits.. and he got the bacon burger with eggs and fries and french toast.. the burger was great the egg add a nice touch to it.. the fries wasn't bad and the French toast was ok.. the grits was good but it was a tad bit too watery.. the egg whites and the pankes were great.. the turkey sausages was alright. We got something to drink also orange juice and raspberry iced tea and the waitress came by twice and asked us how was the food... so over all is was good. We got the bill.. the bill was $41 and some change and she scratched out the price and charged us $51 and some change.. I didn't know they can do that.“
“Me and my granddaughter went there Sunday after we left the movie seeing One Love, February 25,2024. Nice restaurant to eat in and have a sundae with your meal. I will be going back to eat again.Parking: Location is convenient with plenty of other stores in area.“
“I tried their waffle ice cream dessert and it absolutely hit the spot. Not only that, the owner accommodated my table by offering complimentary chai. With the combination of atmosphere, hospitality, and a perfectly curated menu, this place is a hallmark for its community. I shall definitely be back.“
“Yes, I did try Jimmy buffs and it was delicious. I enjoyed it and I will be back again. I had the red hot double dog with the peppers and onions the ketchup, the bread was nice and soft. The potatoes were cut round and circle. I enjoyed it. And I will go back again.“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE! I will be a new regular! My man and I went here for breakfast and everything is so delicious. The portions are generous, the pork sausages are fat and juicy, the eggs benedict is perfect, the CANNOLI PANCAKES ARE A DREAM! the coffee is strong, not watery tasting! My ONLY critique- the chocolate milk is $5 and obviously just made with hershey syrup“
“We had three entrées:Scallops (5 stars),Short ribs, (5),Filet Mignon (only 4 stars) because it needed seasoning. It needed a more v salted crust. The side dish of rot kohl, red cabbage, was also tasty, but could have been so much better had they seasoned more.Next time I go, and we will go again, I'll try the scallops.Starters we had the rolls, expensive, but good.Creamy Burrata was outstanding.Desserts were a good a they get.We had the sunday, premium ice cream with stuff, excellent. The chocolate cream pie was great. Chocolate filling was perfect, dark chocolate, not too sweet. Cream perfect too, not too sweet. Crust was a bit too stuff, not flaky like it could have been better. But again, chocolate and cream were perfect, so I'd certainly get it again.Service was great. Ambiance was perfect.Great place for special date or family or even flying solo at the bar.“
“Gourmet Lunch is amazing! Please go in to the door on the left "Gourmet". Maria makes the best food, and it is fresh every day. The menu changes depending on what she has, so you can call ahead if you would like to know. She usually has meat, chicken, 3 types of rice, plantains, vegetables, beans, and sometimes shrimp. I'm sure the side selections may change during the seasons. The meat is so tender, and the chicken so flavorful. Maria and group are so sweet and genuine too. I am happy to support this business, and so is my heart and stomach.“
“My daughter and I stopped in for the first time after trying to find somewhere close to branchbrook park to eat. We had a cheeseburger and I had the Vermont rooster sandwich. Both were delicious! So was the fries. So yum. Can’t wait to come back. Love that they have a Rasta dish my dad can have when I “
“This place is amazing. This is mind-blowing. Bedazzling. Phenomenal. The selection and kid friendly environment all mix together to make Metuchen's greatest ice cream shop. You have too many options. I just can't pick whenever I go! They all seem so good! This place is perfect the way it is, but keep making adjustments however you like! Catering is also a good way, and schools here in Metuchen have held you guys multiple times. Thank you for making this shop happen!Vegetarian options: Good market for it. Good portion and selection but I'm not vegan, but supporting the vegetarians like this is pretty cool.Kid-friendliness: The best way for kids to enjoy themselves in the Metuchen Downtown, and there's a little arcade table that is enjoyable.Wheelchair accessibility: Can be accessed easily, with the place being at the same elevation, directing a good environment for handicapped.“
“I LOVE this place. The bread alone is worth the trip! It's always soft and fresh and delicious. Went for a few burgers and onions rings for dinner. It was hot, fresh and absolutely fantastic. The onion rings are my favorite big rings, fried golden brown and delicious. I will always come back here for a decent priced fresh hot burger!Parking: Tons of spots right in front of the store.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps going inside so you are easily able to roll right in the door“
