Rolls and bread were awesome , and the sandwich choices were plentiful, and pastries were delicious. The retail area is way small , the counter person was easily overwhelmed, and he doesn't make eye contact while you talk to him . The attendant doesn't know what the sandwiches are by the numbers on the board . The food was good and the place was busy.
I love this place. Discovered it about 10 years ago when I lived on Staten Island and still rave about it even though we're now living in Phoenix AZ. I visit them every time we're back on the East coast. They never disappoint!

The most delicious eggplant parmigiana sandwich I have had in almost forever!!! Just the perfect balance of everything! And the BREAD! Beyond fabulous. I drove 36 miles to try this bread and I’m soooo glad I did. I will be back a lot!! My photo does not do this deliciousness any justice , just trust me!!!
