I purchased 3 pies for thanksgiving. The coconut custard was missing the coconut, pie was dry and no taste. It was like you were eating old dry custard pudding. The pumpkin pie had no taste, bland. The grain pie was ok. Very dissatisfied with pies especially when bringing to someone’s house for thanksgiving. Puts a damper on the holiday.

My first time at this bakery - Bought some cannolis and they were not good. The shell had no flavor and the cannoli cream flavor and texture was not good. Not creamy and the flavor was not sweet. I will not be returning. There are many other bakeries on SI to visit. The girl at the counter was very nice, very friendly. The product just wasn’t good compared to other Italian bakeries.

I had a wonderful experience with Buono Bakery. I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s sweet 16, and Frank did an outstanding job bringing it to life. The cake look amazing exactly what I wanted! You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into it. Everyone at the event loved it and asked where it was from. The staff was friendly and easy to work with throughout the process. First time there and went specifically to get St. Joseph’s Zeppole. I’m Italian and I usually make my own so I will give my review based on that. They are just ok. Shell had no flavor needed some salt and a bit of sugar. They put tons of pastry cream which is not too sweet. Pastry cream tasted very commercial meaning I didn’t taste any vanilla or hint of lemon. Overall Really needs more flavor. The ones with the cannoli cream are a bit better. Would I buy them again no.
