“Went there last week to see what this place was about. OMGGGGGG I can't say enough good things about it. I had the matzo ball soup and 1/2 pastrami sandwich with a side of coleslaw. I went with the classics: pancakes, eggs, and a side of bacon. The pancakes were the highlight—light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, soaking up syrup just right without falling apart. The eggs were cooked well, and the bacon struck that nice balance between crispy and tender.

Coffee, as always, played an important role. It was rich, warm, and exactly what you expect from a classic breakfast spot, with refills keeping the table going.

Service, however, was a bit of a different story. Visiting on Palm Sunday, the restaurant was noticeably busier than usual, which seemed to impact the overall experience. While the staff remained polite, service was slower and less attentive than one might hope. It’s understandable given the holiday crowd, but it did take away slightly from an otherwise enjoyable meal.

What stands out most about IHOP is its consistency. It doesn’t try to reinvent breakfast—it simply delivers it. Even on a busy holiday, the food held its standard, which says a lot.

IHOP may not be a culinary revelation, but it remains a reliable go-to for comfort food and familiar flavors—just perhaps not at peak holiday hours.

“On 3/18 at about 6pm, the woman working the front seemed like a genuinely happy and nice person which made our time there that much better! This was the nicest customer service experience we’ve had in a very long time which is very hard to find. Food and Oreo shake was great!!
