unless you want to get sick i would refrain from eating here. I happened to be sitting inside when I noticed flies hovering over my food and what looked like a baby fly literally on top of one of my sushi rolls... it was so small i almost missed it.
Something told me to look at the reviews while I happened to already be eating and I instantaneously lost my appetite because several people previously got sick.
I now write this review as my stomach is turning and I can already sense I will probably be spending my evening vomiting. I would advise to go elsewhere. It makes sense why they are constantly lowering their price on the sushi buffet. I think they will not be around much longer.

As you can see this is a pickup order, I place online and went to pick up, but I the time I got home and start enjoy my food, the avocado roll taste like mod and turn bad already, only one word to say this is trash food. If you don’t wanna end up in hospital “Gastric lavage” pass this spot save your life. Bro got me throw up twice. I’m nice enough not report 311 of poison food. I know the owner doesn’t care about review. They don’t care but just for you people to see.

For years this used to be mine and my family's favorite sushi place on SI-- no more. I used to order sushi weekly from Fuji--no more. Tonight, after doubling over in violent, stabbing, stomach pains, and diarrhea, I vomited two and a half rolls and thankfully no longer feel like I might be dying. Truth is, for the past few months, I felt the quality of the food slipping. My mom told me she felt sick after the last time we went to the restaurant. I had hoped it was a fluke. Nope. After having to clean my walls and floor and commode from projectile vomit, I can safely say it was no fluke. How sad. I don't know if the ownership or management changed or supplier, but something changed for the dramatically worse. I am really sad to write this as I loved this place, but someone else could be seriously hurt by this restaurant.

This was a one time visit.Pros:Large size sushi and sashimi.Fish is fresh.Fast service.Clean environment. All you can eat *initial* price is acceptable.Cons:Green tea is not free. This is the first time in many years that we had to pay for green tea, in many Japanese inspired or Japanese restaurants. We didn't finish a couple of rolls, and were hit with $6 surcharge.Kani salad was dry.Sushi is hit or miss. Some rolls did not match the name. For example: spicy tuna tasted like cooked salmon and was crunchy. Some rolls looked identical but with the different names. We ended up paying $40+ per person.

It's probably the best value for Money on Japanese food in Staten Island. The food is always pretty spot on, though atmosphere is so so. When ever I feel like satisfying my roll craving this is my default option since covid.

Kid got food poisoning from here, already reported the incident to the health department.
HORRIBLE. I placed a delivery order for 2 chicken teriyaki dinners, specifically asked them to make the chicken well done. When we bit into the chicken, it was barely cooked —forget about well done. I called the restaurant to complain and asked if it’s possible to get a refund for just those two, (we ordered other items as well), they denied and said we can get store credit instead. I obviously didn’t want that since I just had bad food from them. The lady argued with me saying that it’s impossible that the chicken wasn’t cooked, I told her I can send a picture of the food in my trash but she didn’t want it. There are much better places nearby, avoid this place!
