OMG, Jelisa's Cafe was remarkable. Prime location and service was great. The menu is really awesome, plenty of really good choices, I had to go with Mangu, and it was magnificent. Team: outstanding. Attentive and professional. Would return.
This place is a diamond in the rough on Staten Island and has reignited my love for empanadas. With this place, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner just with the empanadas alone. Everyone who I have suggested this place to were amazed with the taste and quality of the food. My favorite empanada is the egg salad one. Who would have thought to put egg salad in an empanada? ??
