I love love love this place! The food is great and service is amazing. The portions are very pleasing, and the taste is consistent! I've traveled all the way from upper Westchester just to have lunch at this location! Monas food is definitely cooked with love and you can taste it in every dish! You better get there early because the food goes fast, sometimes it takes a minute but it's well worth the wait.
Delicious food. I got oxtail, rice and beans and Mac and cheese. All excellent. Oxtail was tender and fell off the bone. Loved the flavor of the rice. The Mac and cheese and the cheesy crust on top that I love. Nice portion size too.

Mona is the life line and you can taste her passion in her food... she cooks from her heart and wants everyone to experience her craft. The spice literally has flavor!
