“Hands down the nicest place for lunch. Food is healthy, well-proportioned, and usually delicious. If it is your first time -- know that you can ask for a mix of the salads, sides, and take a piece of bread. Plus, coffee comes with the lunch. When you get the hang of it, you'll find the meal filling and the ambiance really enjoyable.“

“I absolutely love this Cafe! The food is ALWAYS fresh and very hearty. Everything I have gotten so far has been absolutely delicious. This is my go to place for lunch during the work week because they are very health conscience and reasonably priced. I particularly like ordering online where I can add or delete any of the ingredients to my liking. They have a huge selection of food so there is something for everyone. They have a Breakfast and Lunch menu that includes Omelets and platters of all kinds for breakfast, burgers, salads, wraps, paninis, soups, quesadillas, regular & fish tacos and vegetarian wraps and much more. You can even eat your lunch on an outside patio area. 10 out of 10.“

“I accidentally found this **GEM** by searching for chocolate covered strawberries. What a treat, with quality tasting chocolate and fresh strawberries! I also get the coffee (Dubai coffee….OMG), and boba tea. The vibe is totally adorable, Rose who works there is very knowledgeable and total sweetheart! A++++“

“Been there twice. Had Omelette and burrata Avacado toast. Hazelnut latte. All were delicious! Their coffee is top notch. Service is the problem. They do not have enough wait staff, baristas, maybe even cook staff. The one waitress they have literally is everywhere. First time, long wait for food and second time, long wait for coffee…Went during the week both times and many customers come in for coffee to go… strongly suggest more baristas to handle both seated customers and to-go-customers These issues make me hesitate to come again even though the food and coffee are great! ?? There are plenty of other good breakfast/brunch spots nearby that are just as busy that don’t have these service issues. If fixed, this would be my main stay spot for brunch!“

“Sobol is a fantastic restaurant! The Sobol in Port Jefferson is amazing. The staff and manager are so sweet. They always make our bowls and smoothies perfect and if there is ever an issue they fix it. Love to give business to them.“

“I’ve been to other locations of SoBol but this location always go above and beyond when it comes to speed, accuracy and customer service experience!!! My super green smoothie always taste fresh and delicious. The employees are always smiling and quick with my order.“

“Megan was awesome! She was handling the customers and food well! By herself she had 3 customers at a time as 1 person left a new person came in.
Personally, I would have had a panic attack if I was in her situation but she kept her head on the task at hand and was friendly and greeted everyone as they walked in the door. Megan was fantastic and I was impressed by her being so calm and collected with what should be a stressful situation. Dealing with customers that can be nasty and rude is no fun task, but Megan was a star!

“My husband & I were at the Smithtown Historical Grounds for a craft fair on 6/7/21. We ordered the typical chicken fingers with fries & bbq sauce on the side. Well, this was anything but typical! The food was delicious but the bbq sauce was unique & incredible and left me wanting more….no NEEDING more! George was nice enough to arrange to meet me next week so I could purchase a jar of his homemade sauce which I’m looking forward to. Service with a smile & amazing bbq sauce! What more could a girl ask for?“

“I've always been going to this location due to its convenience but now that it's under new ownership this year, not only is it better but you get more for your dollar. The prices now are actually better than they were under previous management. Great combinations for breakfast or lunch, many fresh cream cheeses and bagels/flagles. I highly recommend this location. If you cannot find it, go right past the Walgreens if you are heading north on Terry and turn where it says massage envy because it is easy to miss. If you hit Maureen's, you went too far north. It will be on your right.“

“Clearly all the negative reviews are from people who don't know the owner or may have caught him on a bad day. He treats his employees like they are his flesh and blood! He pays for lawyers to help them with their citizenship. He gives them. clothes and food. This is a KIND and GENEROUS man. Clearly he's doing something right being in business over 40 years. As for not paying the rest of the money owed for the hot dog truck he purchased, the previous owner failed to tell him the things wrong with it and the pieces they failed to give him at the time of purchase. So who is the victim in this transaction? He's still fixing and paying for the plumbing on the cart! His restaurant is immaculate and so is the kitchen. The food is the highest quality for a diner.“

“Panera Selden is one of the better, healthier choices for fast food in our area. They offer rewards if you order thru their website and a low shipping fee. Customer Service is excellent. I just want to post this "Public Svc. Announcement." Watch out for the Zesty Sweet Peppers on the Ciabatta Cheesesteak sandwich. They are HOT, HOT, HOT; unlike the sweet peppers you get at Subway. I couldn't eat the sandwich, but Customer Svc. took care of me.“
