“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

“WOW! Their food is out of this world. It is so tasty. You will NOT regret coming here. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants in Central Islip.Try their "Asopao de camarones" (Shrimp Stew), or their " Cazuela de mariscos" ( It has shrimp, crab, lobster, calamares, clams), oh dear it was good!“

“We had a great experience hosting a party at Legends. Everyone from the children to my 92 year old grandma loved it. The staff was a pleasure to work with and it was so easy to put the party together. The apps and the dinner food was delicious and the staff was so kind and helpful. I definitely will be recommending it to friends!“

“Been eating at Applebee's all over Long Island for over 20 years. Definitely feels nostalgic eating here again, but I never felt compelled to leave a review until now.
Food is always amazing, definitely hits the spot. Late night half-off-apps, but we wanted to try some of their new items.
At the top, their new Bacon Cheeseburger Wonton Tacos were fantastic! I hope they stay on the menu.
Always wanted to try the O-M-Cheese Burger, and apparently all their burgers are cooked on a flat top. I prefer that vs grill, and the sizzling cheese plate definitely is a nice touch. Delicious!
Boneless wings are always good, a nice dependable standard. Love the Garlic Parm.
My all-time favorite, the Chicken Quesadilla. Still tastes the same as I remember as a teen.

“This place is where it’s at!!!!!!! The employees were really awesome, and remember my drink and had another ready for me before I could ask! The food is great and perfect menu for a good snack or a munchie when out at a place like this! It hit the spot! Manjaaaaa! The patio is great to hang outside and the place was clean too! I recommend this place to anyone and if you’re looking for a great happy hour spot or even to have an event deff hit this place up. Also there was a woman there who I can’t remember her name but she was deff a staple and possibly an owner not sure but she lit the room up and her energy was contagiously amazing! “A typical Applebee's , food is always decent and the staff does the best it knows how. This Applebee's seems to be a hangout for a younger crowd . Although it was only 8 pm , one staff member was cleaning and VACUUMING a section while we, and other diners were eating. I find this a little annoying since the air is being polluted with who knows what from that VACUUM! Not a procedure that should be done while people are eating!“

“Great service! Loved how we were seated quickly (It was 3 of us) The server was patient and kind and I loved how she kept coming back in between to ask if everything/us was ok.
I had the wanton taco cheeseburger, and the grill chicken and shrimp with mashed potatoes...... Deeeeeeelicious!! 9/10! I took away 1 point because its was a bit too oily. PSA! its served on a hot skillet. Becareful!“

“Vinny was a great server at Applebee’s in Commack. Everything was brought out on time, and he consistently checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. He was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Employees like Vinny make a dining experience enjoyable, and he deserves to be recognized for his hard work.“
