“My family came for Father's Day and it was the best decision we could have made. The restaurant and staff were extremely welcoming and the food presentation was artful. We had lassi and wine on the house, making the celebration feel wholehearted. The food is genuinely made with love and passion, with the staff members explaining the different flavors if asked. My family's personal favorites were the naan, the chicken tikka masala, mango lassi, the goat curry (I forgot the name of the dish!) and samosas with its minty-tamarind dip. “My boyfriend and I have passed this cute restaurant many times, but yesterday was our first experience eating there. We came on a Sunday for a late brunch and there was lively gospel music playing and also a live guitarist. The atmosphere is homey, comfortable and inviting. We went in blind and ordered the fried chicken dinner and the BBQ dinners with potato salad and greens. We also ordered a side of mac & cheese. The house provides biscuits and muffins drizzle in honey and syrup. These were served warm and they were delicious! The dinners we had were absolutely phenomenal! 10 out o 10. The portions were also very generous. We were moved by the food and could tell that they were prepared thoughtfully with love and care. Everything was beautifully seasoned and flavorful. This place is a hidden gem and can easily compete with some of the heavy-hitter soul food restaurants in Harlem like Melba's. Melba's is one of our favorites, but My Father's House is on par or surpasses Melba's in certain respects. We were delighted to meet the chef and owner of My Father's House named Adrian. She was absolutely delightful and greeted us so warmly. I learned that she is a preacher and a teacher and has opened up the restaurant in honor of her late father. You can feel the love and sincerity in this establishment. We will definitely be back and inviting others and recommending it to others! We also sat next to a beautiful Asian family who was dining there for the first time along with us and they also said they absolutely loved the food. 10/10! Can't wait to go back!“

We got the Separation Anxiety (think BLT but hotdog) and Diablo Dogg (jalapeños and chipotle mayo) and Mutt Fries (Chilli Bacon Cheese) - all made by the owner, Tara. You can really taste the care she puts into the food.

“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint! We also ordered a hot coca which was perfect for this cold rainy day and a delicious salmon pizzaoili. The Eggplant rollantini was good as well. Will definitely be coming back here!“

“The Yard House restaurant is a popular and well regarded American casual dining restaurant chain that's known for offering guests superbly made burgers, pizzas, salads and other delicious dishes. In July of 2025, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at the Yard House, specifically the branch located at the Palisades Center at West Nyack, New York and we very much enjoyed our dining experience. The staff warmly greeted us upon arrival and quickly provided us with a very large and comfortable dining table. Our server, Destiny D. was kind, welcoming and unquestionably professional. She did a great job on taking our menu orders, addressing our inquiries and always checked to make sure that we were having a great time. The Yard House is truly fortunate to have Destiny D as a member of their team. In addition to the great service, both my wife and I were in awe of the restaurant's energetic and vivacious atmosphere. We were impressed with its modern and stylish decor, and its display of multiple large television screens which feature live sports events and popular music programming. Guests also have access to a lively sports bar which features a vast collection of beers and cocktails. Last but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely enjoyed our meal!!! We found our guacamole and chips appetizer tasty and delightful!!! I ordered and loved my burger based entree while my wife ordered and loved her whiskey glazed salmon entree. We found our meals to be perfectly cooked, superbly seasoned and highly delicious!!! The woman at the front counter was the same woman that answered the phone. She was beyond disgusting and rude to another customer. Telling this customer she didn’t pay and her card had to be charged. She told me “I wasn’t talking to you.” I responded with “There is no reason for you to be nasty!” She responded with “ We are very busy.” Then a tall man proceeded to hand me the food I ordered. She said something me and once again I turned around and responded “Learn to talk to people, there is no reason for you to be nasty!” I walked out with the food.I do not care if there is a line out the door or you are busy. There is no reason for someone to disgustingly nasty and rude!“
