One of her customers was walking parallel to the bar and she stoped everything she was doing and asked if they were looking for her… they were just heading towards the restrooms. “Took hubby for birthday dinner in a blinding snowstorm from Moravia..was worth the white knuckles. Great atmosphere Megan( Red) made us welcome and got our drinks. Hubby had the steak and lobster($20 on Tues nites) awesome! I had the 12 os strip and fries($10). Never had it done so perfect!!( I like well and most char it) pretzel and cheese for dessert..lol and crispy but juicy wings were excellent! We will return its worth the drive!!!“

“Drink are fresh and taste so good. Love the variety they create with the seasons and Holidays. Live music is great and I love the outdoor area in the summer. Indoor and outdoor games are fun too. Toss N Fire always there and weekends in better weather a great lineup of rotating food trucks as well. The library room is a relaxing oasis away from the crowds on the weekends.“

I get when you're busy or chatting with another customer, just don't let someone stand there forever wondering if your going to serve them or not.“

“Tina and her crew have a GREAT variety of absolutely fantastic craft brewed beer. Have yet to see anything but great music booking there. Granted- it’s not the easiest place to find (the old IBU) but ample parking behind the tire place and plenty of space both inside and out (weather permitting). A great addition to the area filling the void left by the loss of Full Boar and the disappointing replacement.“

The bar is beautiful and you can tell the owner really intended to have a beautiful venue designed for live music with a certain feel.
Records in the ceiling, a nice stage, an awesome lounge off to the side, a cool table layout by the stage reminiscent of old jazz clubs. I wish it was closer, but I’ll be stopping by whenever I’m around.“

“Cerios is hands down one of the best establisments in Syracuse. The atmosphere and crowd are welcoming, friendly and down to earth. The owner is a great person who also works quite a few of the day shifts behind the bar. It became a regular spot of mine that I have happily spent my afternoons and evenings time and time again after my first few initial visits. All of the bartenders save for one specific (short) individual that other reviews mention are very attentive and will easily recognize you and treat you with respect and make you feel like you are a regular patron who has visited before. “During a career that has kept me on the road for decades as a touring musician, I have logged more hotel nights and endured more “continental breakfasts” than I care to count. Buffets blur together after a while. This one did not. And the reason is Madee. I was seated at the far table in the M-Club of the Syracuse Marriott Downtown when, precisely at 6:15 a.m., the door from the back of the house opened. Before a single chafing dish appeared, it was already clear that Madee was cut from superior cloth. Her uniform was immaculately pressed, her posture confident, her movements deliberate and economical. There was a quiet professionalism to the way she set the breakfast line, golden chafing dishes placed with a near ceremonial calm. No wasted motion. No noise. Just focus, grace, and purpose. It was the kind of work ethic you recognize immediately if you’ve spent a lifetime watching people either take pride in what they do or simply punch the clock. She was pleasant to look at, physically fit, composed, and radiating a confidence that came not from showmanship but from competence. When she approached my table at exactly the right moment, just as I was finishing my plate of sausage, scrambled eggs, and fingerling potatoes, she greeted me warmly and said, “Good morning, sir. We’d like to present you with this complimentary gift bag for the holidays.” It was a small gesture, but delivered with such sincerity and polish that it landed squarely where hospitality should. I was genuinely charmed. My eggs, which had cooled only because I was busy writing this very review, seemed to perk right back up in her presence. She asked what brought me to town, listened attentively, and when I told her I was a Syracuse native home for Christmas from Florida, she acknowledged it with warmth and ease. The conversation ended exactly as it should have, gracefully, without lingering, as she returned to her breakfast station. From my seat, I overheard her greeting other guests with a level of polish that far exceeded her youth. Every guest received the same respect and attentiveness. Hotels can be beautiful. Lounges can be exclusive. Food can be well prepared. But it is people like Madee who elevate a stay from comfortable to memorable. “Went to this watering hole after two long days of work on a Saturday night. Was quickly greated at the bar by the female bartender who promptly served me a drink with a smirk on her face. Enjoyed the vibe (would like to hear more rock music though) and tried to unwind from a long day. Whilst sitting there minding my own business, a gentleman approached the bar, next to where I was sitting, asking for quarters to play pool. The bartender politely informed him that she could not allow a new game to start as the bar had already locked the doors and was about to close. This gentleman, who said his name was Dalton, became irate about the matter and had to be asked to leave. My first thought was on his name. Dalton was the cooler in Road House. He's supposed to always remain calm. This guy was anything but calm. He was ranting in a language that was a hybrid of hillbilly, valleygirl, inner-city slang and various grunts. The bartender was able to understand him, but when she spoke in an ordinary voice she sounded pompous and mean to him. Road House Dalton was always cool. This guy was the opposite. While he was on his rant at the bartender, I suddenly noticed that she was sitting atop a horse (or so I thought) while getting frustrated that he didn't understand that there wouldn't be enough time for a game of pool before the establishment closed and they had to leave, and they didn't want someone upset because they wouldn't be able to finish their game to determine who was going to be the man that night. It was about that time that I realized that the bartender was not sitting atop a horse, but a giant crustacean from the Paleolithic Era. The beast asked for... tree-fitty. God Dang Loch Ness Monster!!!!!

Side note the Burger is still the worst around has been for well over 20 years. Don't order it. The service and atmosphere is fantastic.“
