“Ordered the sesame chicken with pork fried rice and a fried shrimp egg roll. Service was simple and quick, took about 8 minutes. The food is above average for a Chinese takeout place. You can tell there is a degree of freshness in everything. The sesame chicken was fried perfect with a light crunch but not overpowering in sauce. The chicken itself was juicy and felt like it wasn’t frozen. The sauce also was different than usual, but in a good savory way. The rice by far was my favorite, it wasn’t greasy and had good chunks of pork and egg. It’s not yellow like other places, which I think is a good thing. The shrimp egg roll was the only letdown as I felt it was a bit too greasy but definitely not bad. I travel for work and am from NYC — take my review for what it is.“

“I’ve tried a LOT of different places around Syracuse in look for good Crab Ragoons & Lo Main and this place is definitely the best. Generous in portions, good amount of veggies in the lo main and the Rangoons aren’t mostly bread/crust!! Highly recommend!!“

“Having been to the Lavish Mediterranean restaurant more than a few times now, I must say that I have enjoyed every meal that I have had out of the wide variety of fine quality of delicious dishes on their menu and the generous portions that they serve. Besides the delicious food, the polite and caring staff, the clean and well-lit environment, and the comfortable seating are an added plus. I would recommend this restaurant to all, and am fairly sure that future visits there will be desired.“

“Typical take out layout so atmosphere is of that style. But their food is the best Asian take out in town always fresh, fast, & correct... And I'm a pain in the ass and always special order with changes. They never get it wrong even when packed and super busy“

Showed up right as they opened in the middle of the week and the owner, who doesn't speak English, did his very best to ensure he was clear on what I wanted, made my food to go as I had asked, and offered me and my infant son an umbrella using his phone to translate so we didn't get wet in the rain. While I paid he helped keep an eye on my busy little man and made sure he was secure while I had one hand occupied.

I make time to eat here every time I'm in the city and I look forward to it. Best fried rice I have ever had. Their usual server does speak English btw, but her not being there did not diminish the service.“

“Food was delicious. The mapo tofu was delicious and left a numbing sensation in my mouth that I’ve never felt with any other dish containing Szechuan peppercorns. The scallion pancake was delicious as well. The wontons were good, just not the flavor we were expecting. Highly recommend this place!“

The workers are always very friendly. I’m grateful this place exists! It is one of my top three local Chinese spots! The food was ready when my confirmation text told me it would be and loved that I was able to pay online. Upon pick up, I was greeted with a friendly smile from the cashier. “Just moved to the area and was told this was the best take-out. Compared to other Chinese places, the price was a better value and it tasted fresher. I think I will make this part of my Friday night post-workout ritual. The Sweet and Sour chicken with a side of fries and wings for twenty bucks lasts like two meals, I can bring the extra to work. They are very family orient (most times you will see the kids at one of the tables or the family enjoying a meal together). This place is busy, but you would never notice. “This is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I have ever been to I mean it's very dated inside but all of the counters are clean all of the grills and pans look clean. There isn't food splattered all over and there food is very good. Only Chinese place in town that hasn't given me an upset stomach.“

“Orders on Grubhub and my order came PIPING hot and they included rice and 2 fortune cookies as a little something extra. We’ve ordered their catering before and it was just as delicious. It’s a decent price for that amount of food ($35 for 4 meals worth of sesame chicken and lo mein). They PACKED my lo mein into the container but for $10, I wish there was just a bit more.
