“Last night’s wine pairing dinner was truly a 10/10 experience. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and comfortable. The chef absolutely blew me away each dish was a masterpiece, perfectly paired with wines that brought out every flavor. You could feel the passion behind every plate and every pour. And the people? “My absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse. The fries are immaculate with the perfect crispy exterior, and soft smooth interior. My go to main dish is the Kefta Kebab, and they always fulfill my request of extra Sumac on the side :) The staff is so friendly, it's always pleasant to come here. I am moving and this will be the place I genuinely miss the most in Syracuse!! I forgot to take a picture before eating, so here is a picture of my leftovers from the Kefta Kebab platter. This is a must visit restaurant if you like middle eastern food!!
Edit, forgot to say: I also took notice of how clean this restaurant is. Every time me and my family come in, I see how sparkly clean all the tables, kitchen, and bathrooms look. This puts lots of confidence in quality!“

“Darwin's is delicious! This was our first time, and the staff was great at explaining the menu to our group of 5. Our group ordered - 2 Fish Sandwiches, Brandy B's MIDNIGHT COWGIRL, D's SOUTH OF THE BIRDER, and the Beets - N- Blue salad. All were fantastic! We'll be back!“

“This is the 2nd time I've been to The Cider Mill since having a very restricted diet for my breastfed baby and they were beyond accommodating both times. Our server went back to the kitchen multiple times to figure out what I could have and to check ingredients and ensure my meal was free of dairy, soy and eggs When she brought us bread and the tomato dipping sauce she had already verified that I could eat both and when there wasn't really a safe dessert (& they knew it was my birthday) she came out with a coconut whip and a candle (which was actually a perfect little light and delicious dessert). Above and beyond and so thoughtful. Apart from my allergy situation they just have delicious food and drinks and the staff is also more than kind. When my husband and I brought our 8 week old baby to eat outside, the general manager/hostess came to our car to ask if we needed help carrying anything. We have felt so cared for each visit which is just a huge bonus to the yummy food! 🩵“

“We ordered for the first time tonight, and I just wanted to say that everything was absolutely wonderful, even ordered it for pick up and I can't tell you the last time I had such a great meal to go. “Been going here since I was a kid. Nothing's really changed in the sub shop, besides the COVID wall. Hot pepper relish is what makes Jreck Sub stand out from the other sub shops any where around. The subs are very skinny from other bread subs. They have better roast beef. Not sure if they still service corn “

“I got the Korean BBQ Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts. The Korean bbq Mac and cheese was excellent the brussel sprouts were good but I would have preferred it to be heavier on the vegetables than the bacon. (Personal pref) They were still good. And don't let the small size be misleading it is fulfilling. The food customisation is about limitless. The place is nice however the decoration is more zen than the atmosphere exudes. Tables were clean and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Will come here again.“

“We eat there at least twice a week. Their omelets are always awesome. Light and fluffy… always have the heal of Italian bread for our toast. 😁 Today’s special, banana pancakes and bacon!!! Added an egg to it. Oh my.. please give them a try.. you won’t be disappointed with the food or service.“

“After several years of having no Thai restaurant to call our own, I think we finally found our place. The food was amazing, the service was prompt and very friendly and engaging. I was warned when I ordered the hot (their spice levels are mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot, and I'm not doing Thai hot ever again, IYKYK). We had a great conversation with our server about the spice level and the food quality. I told her I came here for the heat and to let me have it. There's just something about Thai spice that compliments the dishes so well, it's why I love Thai cuisine so much when done right. Can I just tell you how happy this food made us? When we lost our local Thai place, it was like there was a death in the family. This was like seeing an old friend again. I ordered panang curry with chicken and Julie ordered a mango cashew stir fry. Wow. Both dishes were amazing. The flavors were so pronounced, the veggies were so fresh. It hit all the buttons. And just like the place we used to frequent, the heat was perfect. It was about 8 star heat for those of you who frequented Thai rose. I told my server when she brought it out I was quite excited to be able the see the heat in my dish with all the red speckles in it. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu, very highly recommended.“

“Amazing food & amazing service. The service i received was one of a kind. I don't know how they don't have a 5 star rating. This place is definitely very underrated. Have been here from out of town for a long time due to my daughter being admitted into the hospital here. Their delicious food & their kindness has made syracuse feel more like home. This is my go to place for some good homemade pizza & Stromboli in Syracuse. Get food from here! You won't be disappointed!“
