“I have been going to the Fish Cove in Solvay since I was a young man. I have personally traveled all over this Country and have never had such a wonderful seafood experience. Growing up in an Italian village with Italian traditions, the Cove was especially critical at holiday times. The owners obtain the freshest fish anywhere and make all their own salads up in house. All’s I can say you really have a treasure in the Syracuse area. Along with the Cove being from a long line of family members, our enjoyment of this establishment has gone down through our family as well. A fancy dining experience you will not find, but the best and freshest fish you ever had, you will! Be so very grateful that this establishment still resides in the village of Solvay, I am!!!“

“Haven't been to CJ's in ages. I was right around the corner and it's Friday! Perfect timing as a fresh batch of fish was just coming out of the deep fryer. One piece to go. Perfect sized serving. Hot and tasty! Cost $5.75. Sorry no picture, to darn hungry when I got home. ( I added my own slaw style salad)“

“This is certainly not a sit down restaurant. It is a place for ordering various fish by the pound, or for ordering a haddock sandwich with fries and various sides. That said, the haddock sandwich is wonderful, served on a nice roll with plenty of tartar sauce. The fries are nice and crispy. I didn’t try all the sides, but the macaroni salad was very good. They also have canned drinks. Overall, a delicious and relatively inexpensive lunch.“

“After several years of having no Thai restaurant to call our own, I think we finally found our place. The food was amazing, the service was prompt and very friendly and engaging. I was warned when I ordered the hot (their spice levels are mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot, and I'm not doing Thai hot ever again, IYKYK). We had a great conversation with our server about the spice level and the food quality. I told her I came here for the heat and to let me have it. There's just something about Thai spice that compliments the dishes so well, it's why I love Thai cuisine so much when done right. Can I just tell you how happy this food made us? When we lost our local Thai place, it was like there was a death in the family. This was like seeing an old friend again. I ordered panang curry with chicken and Julie ordered a mango cashew stir fry. Wow. Both dishes were amazing. The flavors were so pronounced, the veggies were so fresh. It hit all the buttons. And just like the place we used to frequent, the heat was perfect. It was about 8 star heat for those of you who frequented Thai rose. I told my server when she brought it out I was quite excited to be able the see the heat in my dish with all the red speckles in it. We can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu, very highly recommended.“

“Have ordered 2x through GH and am quite happy with everything so far. Wings are large and sauces are good (but sweet!) Crab Rangoon are excellent. Choice of sauces. Would Luke a description of the sauces. Would also like a ginger sauce. Egg Rolls are good. House sauce is great with them.“

“pies giys has declined ALOT the food has become poor at this location they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE even at 8pm so drove down to even attempt an order an hour before close and the inside is absolute filth maybe pick up a rag everyone standing around. I'd say it's poorly managed“
