Southern baker here. Take it from someone who knows biscuits, and get a scallion cheddar biscuit, perfect bake, flaky not crumbly. Honestly one of the best biscuits I’ve ever eaten! Classic chocolate cupcake is great, buttercream needs a pinch salt in my opinion. Carrot cake cupcake was a hit for the hubby with a perfect cream cheese icing. If you’re an egg salad fan, grab a tub and a ciabatta roll for a quick sandwich!

Such a great spot. The food is really above average. Everything is so fresh. Their salads are absolutely wonderful and they can customize them if there's any ingredients that you don't want. This is one of those big houses where the food is as good if not better than the baked goods, which are also excellent. By the way.. Great coffee and they're dog friendly to boot!!!

Bakehouse has honestly brought new life to the station. For years, the area around the train station felt a little empty and quiet, but now it feels much more welcoming with seating, service, and people actually stopping to enjoy the space.
Their pastries are definitely the strongest part of the experience. The coffee is good too, but what really stands out is the variety of fresh baked goods they offer, both sweet and savory. Their empanadas are very good, and everything I’ve tried here has always tasted fresh and high quality. I’ve ordered cakes, cupcakes, and several different pastries over time and they’ve all been consistently good. The apple turnovers looked especially amazing the last time I visited.
It’s the perfect stop before catching a train or right after arriving if you’re hungry. I definitely recommend grabbing some pastries before your trip.

I've been coming here consistently for the last several months usally right before my train commute and at times after. This cafe, its service, customer service and yummy food has been consistent. In a time where one can be stressed, or having a bad day, it's refreshing to know you'll be taken cared of with compassion and respect. On my way in this morning, i was running late to catch a train. I mentioned it to the young lady (i didn't get her name), assisting me, and she ensured me my item would be warmed and ready for me as I board my train. It's that consistent service, smile, fresh yummy food that keeps me returning every time.
