The food is all homemade and made with love. Everything is beyond delicious, hot, and flavorful. The French toast is the best ever, and the home fries are the best in Buffalo. Must-try dishes include the chicken and waffles, which is literally so good, along with wings, tenders, and a fish dinner with catfish and tarter sauce. The ribs are tender with flavorful sauce, the mac and cheese is so cheesy with an impressive cheese pull, and the yams are a glorious sweet side. Other favorites include perfectly breaded fried shrimp and okra, as well as sausage, eggs, grits, and hushpuppies. While the food takes a decent amount of time, the portion size, quality, and price are ideal, making it well worth the wait.
