“A pleasant little breakfast and lunch eatery near downtown Troy. The vibe is definitely chill, which comes from the owner. He appeared very knowledgeable about what he was serving, and helped me navigate the choices. Providing lots of info as needed.

There are quite a lot of vegan and vegetarian choices here. I opted for the Blue Lagoon acai bowl. The acai base had spirulina in it, and the toppings were all fresh fruits and nuts, plus chia seeds. It was definitely not too sweet and clearly assembled with presence and care. I felt nourished afterward, not sugared up.

I'm off of coffee for a while, so the turmeric latte was a nice choice.

My wife had the pesto grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup. These also seemed prepared with love and care.

We were both very happy here and will be back to try more things.“

The environment helps us feel more comfortable to sit down and discuss difficult things and the grits always seem to make him more agreeable too! We have brought brothers, daughters, in laws, and friends to this same place and it has honestly become so very important to us.
