“My husband and I visited this restaurant, late at night, during a one-night stay at the Long Island Marriott. We liked it.
The food we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent.
Bernard, the bartender was competent and friendly.
Jet, the manager was welcoming and amicable.“

“We went for the second time, the first time was so much better!! This time it was not good. My wife had the fish tacos. Not only did they not look nice but the taste was bad. I had the crunchy mahi mahi. It looked like raw tuna. It was not good as well. The only thing we liked was the desserts. We will not go back any time soon.“

“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

“Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. “We went to Harvest House before a show and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and even though we sat at the bar it felt like we were part of the whole room. By the time we finished, the place was buzzing in the best way.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived a little behind schedule, and made sure we could still enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

We ordered from both the specials and the main menu and enjoyed some excellent cocktails. Every dish felt fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Harvest House perfectly captures that farm-to-tavern feel — warm, welcoming, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!“

First - A shout out to Luis, our server, for the wonderful service! Now to the food, Our Sage House salad was delicious - all fresh and tasty ingredients! For entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the super tasty and fresh Frutti De Mer, In a delicious red sauce, this was a best ever, chunks of sole filet, mussels, the tenderest Calamari, and clams. Simply delicious, and with a basket of bread to help soak up all that delicious sauce!!! My other half enjoyed the Cacio y Pepi - Super tasty, another great choice! For dessert, Profiteroles - a puff pastry with ice cream in the middle, served with chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Another great choice paired with a cup of hot, black coffee. A great choice for lunch or dinner and Sage also has Sunday brunch.“

The price points are over $20 for these items, some fries or a vegetable on the side would be nice. Also could benefit from sound absorbing ceiling panels. We did experience great service. The wait staff is hard working and do their best to accommodate you. It's a nice spot to bring older folks as there are no steps and seating is easy.“

Our dinner was on a quiet Sunday night, so the noise level was low. I've been here when it is really busy and the noise level then is moderate (ie, not too noisy for conversation).
