“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Denine was the absolute best waitress I have ever had. Trust me when I say she was the nicest, most polite, and genuine people I have ever met. Left such a good impression with all of us, and made the service and experience top tier. I have so many nice things to say, but most of all was so kind to us all. “I stumbled upon this place by accident while browsing the map, and it turned out to be an incredible culinary experience. The special summer menu was especially impressive. I tried the burrata, steak tartare, summer tomato soup, striped bass, and the Harvest Burger—every dish was delicious. Friendly staff and a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better.“

“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

“OMG!! Absolutely delicious!!! This is my 10th time here and I am still impressed with the food and service. I had the Tuscany chicken melt- highly recommend and my sister had the Parmesan crusted chicken - phenomenal!! Our waiter Anthony- THE BEST! Attentive, polite and generous. Every time I visit NY- I look forward to coming here! I wish they would branch out to Florida. Compliments to the chef and staff- keep up the GREAT WORK!“

“I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

The atmosphere up on the rooftop is perfection—airy, vibrant, and the perfect spot to spend a Sunday.The food was absolutely out of this world! I had to try the famous Captain Crunch Chicken Fingers, and they did not disappoint. The sweet, crunchy, savory combination is pure genius. I also ordered the Belgium Waffle served with eggs exactly the way I like them and a choice of savory bacon. The kicker? The meal also comes with a generous spread of fresh muffins, bagels, fruit, and your choice of a cocktail to kick things off!To top it all off, the chocolate truffle cake was the absolute bomb. Rich, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an already flawless meal. The service was fantastic, and the drinks were flowing. “Perfect little cozy spot for Breakfast/ Lunch with a European Atmosphere, spacious with seating that allows privacy and comfort.
Breakfast was great , I loved the touch of Lettuce on the plate which was tasty along with the potatoes and Eggs . The only thing that bothered me was the Bill which much to my surprise was $ 5.00 for a small cup of coffee.. that added $ 10 for my friend and myself. The issue is NOWHERE on the menu is it listed .. Our Waiter David was attentive and pleasant, but he should have mentioned that a cup of coffee is extra or offered a glass of Orange juice .. I’ll go there again because I really like the place and it’s close to my home .. next time I’ll ask if the glass of water they put in the table is in place of a nice morning cup of coffee…“

“Lovely neighborhood cafe in a beautiful, secluded beach community. They have a convenient parking lot, and the atmosphere is serene. The food is great, and the portions are huge. The wait staff is hard working and do their best to accommodate you. It's a nice spot to bring older folks as there are no steps and seating is easy.“
