“We had breakfast there the morning of 5/30/26 (we were attending a wedding). There was an older gentleman with an Irish accent who was very sweet & funny. I was recently diagnosed with Celiac's disease, so the staff made sure I was able to get something without getting sick. He said the chef wasn't sure about the mozzarella for my dish, but me & our server were quite sure it was safe. I was just happy to find something that was vegetarian & gluten free! He even came over & took my pulse LOL! Excellent food & staff!“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“I went to The Harbor Light with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. I cannot tell you how accommodating the staff was. We originally sat in an area where he was unable to hear well. The owner Bernadette and the server Annie opened up a whole other section in the restaurant for us that was quieter. They were so kind and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I would definitely recommend this place. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you Harbor Light!“

“We had a fantastic brunch at Sailor. I originally considered the French toast but decided to try the Turkish eggs and am so glad that I did. The smoked turkey Reuben was also excellent. The olive oil cake is better than mine and I will definitely alter my recipe. We will visit again.“

The bands were phenomenal, they were absolutely working the room, bringing so much energy, and playing amazing sets. Kept the whole place alive.
The drinks were excellent and expertly made, and we had a lot of fun sharing a bunch of delicious appetizers. It’s the perfect recipe for a great night out in Brooklyn. We will definitely be back for more live music soon!“

“Boardwalk Beer Garden turned out to be exactly the kind of place I did not know I needed tonight.

It’s right on the Brighton Beach Boardwalk, which already gives it a strong advantage: beach air, ocean nearby, and a calmer feel than the heavier Coney Island energy down the way. I had spent some time outside by the beach first, just taking in the water and the boardwalk, and then decided to step inside for a drink and something to eat.

Inside, the place had the feel of a real neighborhood bar: comfortable, lively, and unpretentious. Sports were playing across the TV screens, so it had that good sports-bar energy without feeling overwhelming. I was there by myself, but I never felt out of place. That matters. Some places have a way of making a solo customer feel invisible; this place did the opposite.

The margarita was excellent — honestly, one of the best I’ve had. Big credit to Phillip, who was an incredible bartender and made the whole experience feel easy, friendly, and welcoming. Good service is not just about taking an order. It is about reading the room, making people feel comfortable, and adding something human to the night. Phillip did that.

I also had the Jumbo Mozzarella Sticks with the margarita, and they absolutely hit the spot. Simple, satisfying, and exactly the kind of bar food you want when you’re sitting inside after time on the boardwalk.

Overall, Boardwalk Beer Garden was a very pleasant surprise: a relaxed Brighton Beach spot with a homey feel, good drinks, satisfying food, sports on the screens, and genuinely friendly service. I’m glad I gave it a chance, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back place near the beach.“

“I booked Dinner Party for my husband’s milestone birthday and hosted 36 friends by reserving the entire restaurant for 2.5 hours. I coordinated with the team from a month in advance, and they were all wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned.

The food was delicious, the space was cozy, and it truly felt like an intimate dinner party at home. The five course tasting menu was served as cocktail style bites and was perfect for the evening. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their other menus.“

“What an amazing dinner we were participating in. It started with a flower that exploded our taste buds through all the variety of sea creatures and sea plants prepared various ways to a light but scrumptious bread pudding and ice cream made with 3 waters. All the dishes were presented like works of art accompanied in artistic dishes. It was most definitely a wild to table experience. Highly recommend. (only allowed 10 photos. “Number 7 is exactly what you need in a relaxed neighborhood joint. No pretentions. Great cocktails and solid wine and beer options. A tasty burger and over-flowing plates of fries. And a long inviting bar with no TVs blaring away. The perfect place for a casual meal or a drink and good conversation. The only downside is it's only open Wednesday through Saturday.“

“I love dilly dally!!! The name really embodies the experience: you don't want to leave. I have been many times, and the food is always high quality and delicious. The aesthetic and the staff make you feel at home there. I recently spent many hours there working during the day. There was wifi and many outlets available. I got the breakfast burrito, which was incredible, and sustained me to do hours of work. If you haven't been, you are missing out!“

The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. It’s served with a spoon, which makes you go “Hm what is the spoon for?” It made for a fun little challenge at first (granted, I grazed and took about 2 hours to finish my meal) but once you get the hang of it, it’s like oh wow. Dressing was the standout; unique and memorable. Definitely one of the most interesting Caesar salads I’ve had. I had fun“

I kept ordering the Alien Superstar despite not being fully convinced by it, which honestly may say more about me than the drink. Maybe it was the celery?
