“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“WOW! This was my first time at Village Greens and it was amazing. I got to meet one of the owners Brian who was very welcoming & gets to know his customers on a first name bases. The food at Village Greens was FRESH. I honestly could taste the freshness of the ingredients. I got the Buffalo cauli-power bowl with mozzarella balls instead of blue cheese. INCREDIBLE. I also got the Mediterranean falafel bowl which was HUGE and so delicious! I love how any bowl can be put into a wrap, I got the cojita corn bowl in a wrap, so creamy and tasty! They also have make your own bowls & super good juices! This is a must try spot! I can’t wait to go back!!“

My arepa was fantastic and stuffed full of all kinds of flavourful chicken, beans, cheese, and plantain. Not only that but the staff were beyond friendly! “I live down the block so I'm happy this is a quality pizza place. Their regular, square vodka and chicken bacon ranch slices are great and you get good value for your dollar. The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. I recommend giving this place a try especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

“I brought the family here for dinner on Saturday. The place was peaceful and the food was excellent. Everyone cleaned their plates. Had some issues with the service, but the owner fixed it and everything else was great!

Parking: Free parking in the back lot. Enter the restaurant through the rear, which is a nice entrance.“

Atmosphere is great for a date or good conversation as the layout for the restaurant was well thought out; creating nooks and spots where you felt a sense of privacy even though you could be seen and still hear whomever you are dining with. Very healthy and delicious food options. A bit pricey, but not bad and worthwhile for the quality ingredients and end product.

If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. “Visited papas pizza recently and had a delicious pasta dish along with 3 great slices of pizza. The owner was friendly and attentive. I felt so welcome. So nice to have that inviting classic pizzeria feel. The owner has been in the italian restaurant business a long time and gives that big restaurant hospitality vibe to a smaller spot. Great location and and plenty of parking. Papas isn’t the closest pizzeria to me, but it’s worth the trip! Highly recommended!!!!“

- The quality of the salads is always fantastic. It's great that they include the lemon and bread. The dressing is good quality

CONS
- They ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS forget something. Whether its the bread, the extra dressing on the side that I ordered, the lemon, etc.
- Adding additional protein makes almost no difference at all somehow. I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled chicken and it was not enough chicken the first time. So next time I ordered one with 2x extra chicken - I could NOT even tell the difference? Am I being charged extra for what seems to be the same order? Cmon guys“

Anyway I've eaten here a few times mostly delivered..
But for a pizza joint.. they are on point!!! Pizza is crispy! not soggy.. Chicken franchise is wow!.. heros are full...and my favorite is a rice ball... ask for parmigiana style..OMG the best!!!

“Really enjoyed the pie we ordered, our office got half regular/half pepperoni. I loved the little slices of pepperoni they use versus the traditional larger ones you see at most places. I also really liked the flavor, the sauce and pizza crust were very good. The garlic knots stole the show for me though. Simple but delicious and very fresh. We ordered early around 11:30am and it was ready within 30 minutes. We will definitely be ordering from here again!“
