I was craving for some “Mayi Moulin” & my husband mentioned for me to try the new Haitian restaurant on Front St. When I reached at Soumie’s outside’s appearance looks real nice. Personally If you're looking for a really good and delicious traditional Haitian food, Soumie is the spot. I like the fact that it's a brand new small, quaint take out restaurant that is clean. The two times I visited, the staff behind the counter were very nice and polite. I usually get the fish which is made fresh to order, rather than have it sitting in the pan all day. I had a phenomenal meal at Soumie. To be honest I found this place by accident, but I'm glad I walked in. The owners were super friendly and generous, sharing lots of samples and stories about their food. I don't think I've ever tried Haitian food before, but if I could give this restaurant an 11/10, I absolutely would. I'll be back soon. Thank you guys!
