Adk Cafe has been a staple stop when in the area (local here) and have to say I hope today's experience was the exception not the rule. Waited forever for our food which was luke warm and was charged $10 for poutine that had more gravy than fries. That says a lot since it was served on a plate. Ended up getting our own to go box after waiting 15 minutes and going to the counter to pay since we never got a bill. Very disappointed
We were up on vacation and saw a couple recommendations to go here. So glad we did. We went two mornings for breakfast. I use to own my own diner and deli, so I criticize food all the time. They are spot on at this place. Waitress was amazing and fun.
I have had several great meals there over the last couple of years. But unfortunately things are changing there. They are busy but we were seated at 1:15 but never had anyone wait on us until 1:40. We never got food until they were closed at 2:10. In that time people were seated after us and had eaten and left. They brought out the wrong order.
