Omg the food here is amazing. Almost all the food is homemade and highly recommended for a great meal. The owner was very happy I called her after me and the wife ate our dinner and told her how good the food was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I was fortune enough to find this gem on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. I always try to search out independent non franchise restaurants when traveling. This one fit the bill in spades! It's located a bit off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood but GPS will direct you right there. A true Mama/Papa business where the wife waits on the tables while the husband does the cooking. My wife and I recently returned to The Acropolis for a Friday Fish Fry take out...we had not been back since moving away a number of years ago. We were not disappointed! The fish was amazing and very well priced. They are only doing take-out for the safety of their patrons and the pick-up was orderly and well socially distanced. We will be going back again as this is now our go-to fish fry!
