They were limited to takeout on Thursday-Saturday. They official closed the weekend before Thanksgiving I believe they are happily wintering in Greece then retiring.

My wife and I recently returned to The Acropolis for a Friday Fish Fry take out...we had not been back since moving away a number of years ago. We were not disappointed! The fish was amazing and very well priced. They are only doing take-out for the safety of their patrons and the pick-up was orderly and well socially distanced. We will be going back again as this is now our go-to fish fry!

Omg the food here is amazing. Almost all the food is homemade and highly recommended for a great meal. The owner was very happy I called her after me and the wife ate our dinner and told her how good the food was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

As a long time customer, the last few visits have been past disappointing. There will be no future visits. The once spectacular, perfectly cooked calamari is now rubbery and inedible. The gyro once moist and delicious is a dry, tasteless slab. Even the salad is limp. The mom and pop heart and pride is gone from the establishment. The elderly owners are either too old to care or doddering. What a shame.

I was fortune enough to find this gem on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. I always try to search out independent non franchise restaurants when traveling. This one fit the bill in spades! It's located a bit off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood but GPS will direct you right there. A true Mama/Papa business where the wife waits on the tables while the husband does the cooking. I opted for the lamb souvlaki which was delightfully marinaded and perfectly cooked. It was accompanied by a small greek styled salad, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, pita and Greek yogurt sauce. Along with a glass of wine and tip I was out of there for $30. Between the lovely meal and conversation with the owner the evening was a genuine experience. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
