Great food and service. Had their chicken shawarma and grilled chicken combo and they were consistently good. The hosts are also very kind and friendly. Would recommend!
HIDDEN GEM! I visited this restaurant for the first time recently and this place was amazing! I shared the chicken platter, shish tawook, and falafel...and have been craving the food ever since. Looking forward to my next visit 🤗
A restaurant with friendly staff, calming atmosphere, and excellent food. Price range is very fair considering the amount of food you receive, and the food is prepared very quickly. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area if you’re searching for a halal place for dinner.

Middle East Restaurant and Grill is an outstanding and mind-blowing favorite spot for Middle Eastern food in Utica. The food is amazing, fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Specific praised meals include the chicken kabob plate, lamb gyro, shish tawook, shish tavuk, and lamb kebab, all served with excellent hummus, fragrant rice, and fresh salads. The cozy, homey dine-in area is run by friendly and welcoming staff. It is a small business with just one person cooking, so the food can take a little while but is well worth the wait. Customers highly recommend it and say it is worth a special trip.
