The restaurant is very nice. It is on the more pricey side, but it is well worth it. They were very friendly and the food is amazing. This is a great spot for a special night out, but it is only open for dinners on Friday and Saturday. On weekdays it is open for lunch. Every dish was delicious, cooked perfectly, and looked amazing when they came to the table.

I brought my family here based on a local recommendation, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. Though I had made a reservation, the restaurant was nearly empty aside from a small private party—no need for one, in hindsight. We entered through the train station and waited at the main entrance, clearly visible to two staff members who made no effort to greet or assist us. The wine selection was extremely limited (only Josh), they were out of the beer we ordered, and there was no sparkling water—just tap. The biggest letdown was the service. Our waitress seemed more focused on closing up than caring for guests, with her purse already at the bar by 8pm on a Friday. There are far better dining options in Utica that offer both quality food and attentive service. I won’t be returning.
Attractive setting in the Utica train station. Friends spoke highly of the restaurant, but my experience was “blah.” We arrived at noon, the polite server (apparently new) took our drink orders, delivered them quickly, and returned a few minutes later for our lunch orders. Then the inordinately long wait began. One hour later, two lunches arrived, but the other two didn’t arrive until 15-20 minutes later. And one order was incorrect, but we kept it anyway. The food quality was average, reasonably priced, but the server brought us the wrong check. I suspect the kitchen is understaffed and the waitstaff is inexperienced. Not good. It is what it is, but there are many other places for lunch in Utica and I’ll be at one of those the next time I go out for lunch.
Great food

This spot is incredible. The food is amazing, the service is great. So if you need to go somewhere for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, it will be worth it. I recommend this place to everybody.
We went for a Valentine’s dinner the night after Valentine’s Day. It was great. We got the 5 course Valentine Menu. It was phenomenal. I ordered the strip steak- cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the chicken saltimbocca- fantastic. The whole meal was enjoyable and great service.
Great place, excellent service with outstanding food. Will return with friends and family Paking lot sucked but it was during a snow storm..
Took three hours to get our food. Reservation was 530, never got out till after 830. Was not busy .we were 7 adults , 2 children. We had to ask please can the kids have there food.
I had chicken franchise ,it was a fried boneless chicken with what tasted like salt gravy, it was soo salty I couldn't eat it..no lemon at all. My daughter had chicken riggies I tasted it and spit it out. Out of the 7, three enjoyed the food. We were meeting family @ home after dinner we had to cancel because it was soo late!!! THREE HOURS.
I don't give reviews..why bother..this was such a shock.We were soo looking forward to a family nite out..such a HUGE disappointment.
The waitress was absolutely wonderful as was the young bus boy..

My sister and I held my mom's surprise 80th birthday at Trackside and she loved it! We got a lot of compliments on the food (greek chicken, greens, chicken riggies, treasure salad). Victoria was super helpful and easy to work with when planning the party. We were able to decorate the night before and bring our own cake that our mom likes. We would definitely have another event here!

This was our first time eating at the Track Side Restaurant. I took my husband here to have dinner for his birthday. The food was very tasteful ? and our waiter was so sweet and polite. She would come and check on us to be sure we were satisfied with our food. Yes I will definitely go back there.

Great food. Fun historic atmosphere. Went for lunch and had the grilled eggplant sandwich. Delicious. Ryan our sever was attentive and friendly.
Had a wonderful dinner tonight. Great service and food. I used to go to the Trackside with my grandparents, and the food was just as great it was in the 90’s. French onion soup is phenomenal, and all of the chicken dishes were so delicious. Such a wonderful place to have dinner. The menu has lots of great choices, and everyone is very kind and friendly at the Trackside.
