You could not ask for a better local business to support than this one! Obviously everything there is delicious, we try something new everytime we go. What I love most though is the wonderful service, you don't feel like you're going into some bakeshop where you're just a customer, it feels like you're walking in and you're family. We always see the same nice lady and she is just so real and so patient while our kids pick out what they want! We love it ❤️

Utica Bread is an amazing bakery with great food and amazing baked goods. The bread is so soft, and the pastries and tomato pie are out of this world. The veggie bread is also extremely addictive. Customers recommend the veggie sandwich, spinach feta croissant, chicken salad on baguette, and Half Moons. The service is great, with staff described as amazing, really sweet, helpful, and nice. One employee is always smiling and puts the customer first. The new location is in a strip mall, very bright and clean. However, the hours are terribly severely limited, as the bakery does not open until 8 a.m. and customers cannot arrange schedules to get there before it closes. Some wish it stayed open to 5 or 6 p.m. The restaurant has 3 to 4 locations across the Utica area, and one location is just off the Empire State Trail, making it worth a stop for cyclists. Customers travel from Ohio to Massachusetts and stop in every time, taking baguettes, a whole wheat loaf, and Danish to freeze.
