“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

“We’re from Maryland and stopped at Eddie D’s Pizza while visiting the NY/NJ area. What a great find. The pizza was excellent—the crust, cheese, and sauce all came together perfectly, and every bite was delicious.

What made the visit especially memorable was the owner. He clearly takes pride in what he does and made us feel less like customers and more like special guests. The service was just as good as the pizza, and that kind of warmth stays with you.

We definitely recommend Eddie D’s and look forward to coming back the next time we’re in the area!“

“Ordered takeout for lunch and it was a good experience overall.
It was my first time so I ordered a plain slice and chicken roll. They put in 2 complimentary garlic knots which is always a nice touch.
The plain slice was good, especially liked the crispy crust. Now the chicken roll. HUGE. I’ve never seen so much chicken stuffed into a roll. It’s one hefty roll which I could not finish. It was great but was dry, even though a cup of sauce was included.

Ancona is worth a visit, I know I’ll be going back to try the grandma slice and the buffalo chicken roll.“

“La Pizzeria & Bagel in Valley Stream is a fantastic neighborhood spot! Their bagels are fresh and perfectly bakek. The pizza is always tasty, and they also serve excellent pasta dishes and hearty, flavorful soups that are perfect for a cozy meal. The variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly, and service is consistently fast and welcoming. A great go-to for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!“

“The grandma slices were some of the best I've had, and I grew up on Long Island. The regular chicken roll and the buffalo chicken roll were phenomenal, the garlic knots were huge and fluffy and perfectly seasoned and the spinach wheel was fantastic and cooked fresh. The sauce and perfect crunch to the crust is all i couldve asked for. Would definitely go again.“

“I’ve been ordering from Marinara’s for the longest time, but I thought I’d venture out and try a new spot. I’m not gonna lie, what drew me in initially was the fact that they offer weeknight specials, like the ones on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The pizza is delicious! The crust has just enough salt so it’s not bland, and the sauce has just enough sweetness to keep it from being acidic. On top of that, every time I call to order, the person on the line is always super nice, patient, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions. Honestly, this place delivering top quality food and insane value hit as hard as OG Anunoby’s Game 4 tip-in. Needless to say, I will definitely keep ordering from here. The food is phenomenal, and those weeknight specials dont hurt either.“
