We had dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent. It was not too salty. The vegetables were very fresh and not over cooked. The chow fun was cooked to perfection. The bean curd was cooked just right with the outside just crisp enough. When we return to the Hamtons, we will return to the Phoenix restaurant.
Best in the area. No comparison. NOT EVEN CLOSE. It's been decades since anything remotely good has been around. However, they are great on their own as well. Some of the tofu dishes are absolutely stunning. I'd like their Mopo a little more Szechuan (peppercorns, please?) But a minor complaint at best. This place rules. Forget what anyone else says.
I've looked through the reviews and I can honestly say anyone who has complained about this place has to be somebody who is not from around here and is not used to actual bad service . This is my favorite restaurant and I've lived in about 20 different towns in Suffolk County, they get straight to the point they're honest with you about their delivery times I've never sat down to eat but I'd bet money that it would be just as fast as service as their telephone services as well...read full review
