“I recently visited with my brother and ordered a chopped cheese, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic! The staff (Sal) showed so much hospitality and made me feel welcomed. As for the food—absolutely A1! The chopped cheese was perfectly seasoned and fresh, and every bite was delicious. “This is an order-at-the-counter type place. It was packed with folks picking up takeout and some door dash folks. We were one of the take out orders. Got street tacos and they were legit. Also ordered the chicken mole, rice and beans. My socks were knocked off by the rice and beans and the chicken was delicious. We went back the next day for more. They also had an assortment of vittles (savory and sweet) at the counter.

Update: been there three times and have never been disappointed!! Ordered the chorizo burrito. Good heat level on the sauces that come with it, delicious chorizo flavor. Rice and beans are AMAZING as well. Picked up another couple of tamales de pollo for lunch as well. Great place!!

Had it delivered so I will have to check it out in person. Great healthy tasty addition to the area. Went back and it was great in person to sit down. Lovely ladies managing. Cannot beat this in Albany for healthy eating. So many options. Got Salmon and my cousin had spicy thai chicken, edamame, black beans, feta and parmesan. Out of sight. The options somehow seem deeper than Chopt while the ambience is more humble. Small footprint but we sat comfortably on cushion benches. No calorie bubbly water and chips to finish the meal. They just need to stay open later so we can hang out!“

“Mr. Mamoun is the best and everything I’ve ever tried here has been so good. I’m vegan and find it very easy to tell which dishes I can eat on the website - and there are enough that I still haven’t tried them all despite eating here pretty often. The pita chips are crunchy, the hummus is creamy and flavorful, and everything else is better than you can probably imagine. Take out only which works for me. This is the #1 restaurant I recommend in the Albany area.“

The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. Fresh food, fresh ingredients (from the farm), nice outdoor seating overlooking the farm, and a couple outdoor fire pits. They are pet friendly and have really done a great job with the property. “I went there tonight for the first time...ordered my pizza in house, waited the stated time, went back in, paid and enjoyed it out in the car..the establishment has a spacious lot for customers...had heard of Dante's pizzas awhile back...decided to finally take a drive out (I live about 40 minutes from there)... I must say, I was impressed. in particular, was the freshness of what I was eating [8 cut pepperoni, mushroom and hot peppers)..the sauce was balanced and on point. the peppers were in two rich varieties, appeared to be freshly sliced, and pepperoni was a tasty, mild Margherita style that was generously offered. I've had pizza from a good number of well-respected pizza places in the capital region- and this pizza had had a very nice composition and the crust was nearly perfect in every way.. It had the proper donenese, the nice receding gumline that floated away to Fluffy, pillow like outer crust. The crust had a good crisp to it but not overly done...just overall great balance with finer ingredients for sure...I will definitely go back again. I would say that this pizza can compete with some of the most popular pizzeria's in the Tri -city area. I really believe that!!.. it was really good... in my opinion.“

“Went there twice, I'm a single mom of twins with one daughter who has autism. I wanted to start going here regularly if I could because the first time I went here was absolutely perfect and the waiter was very patient, understanding, terrific and helpful. I wish I knew his name because he provided outstanding service. He bagged everything for me, went to my table multiple times to check how everything was going. Even gave my daughters two tablets to play on while we sat down and ate (this was also during a busier time of day). If I could I would request this waiter again in the future if he was ever on shift. The second time I went there, today, exact opposite experience. the waitress who waited on my table wasn't as helpful as the first guy and it was dead silent when I went in. Told me they had no other tablet to give my daughter who has autism when there was only a couple of other people besides me. Gave me the smallest boxes to pack everything myself and the thinest bags when we had a lot of food to take home. Told me those were the only boxes they carried when the other waiter before packed everything properly in bigger casing. I'd consider going more often if the waiter prior was always working if I'm being honest but either the one today was a trainee or she just didn't care enough to do it herself. Other than that the food is always great to me but sometimes I want to personally get out for the one day I'm available to.“

“The clam chowder is VERY thick. My spoon stood up in the bowl. Nice flavor, but needed more clams and broth for a more intense flavor. The potatoes, while cooked just right, were not a consistent size. For $9.50, I expected better. The bowl lobster bisque, for the same price, had similar issues. The flavor was good and very creamy, but only tiny bits of lobster and few of them. The fried Ipswich clams, I LOVE these things, were plentiful and cooked very well. Thank you! The pan fried scallops, nearly as good as the clams. NICE! Not at all over cooked as I have had elsewhere. Again, thanks! Baked beans were one of my two sides. Their flavor was quite nice; tender without being mushy or falling apart; not overly sweet or harsh with too much molasses. The small amount of salt pork was a nice surprise. Thank you! My coleslaw was nice and crispy, not overly sweet or sauced, just a very good balance. The cost is a bit pricey. However, shellfish is expensive. I will be returning to try more of the menu. Lobster rolls specifically.“
