“There are breakfast sandwiches and then there are BREAKFAST SANDWICHES. I am so happy that I stopped by to try the breakfast here. The eggs weren't drooping with oil, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. The ladies were extremely friendly and welcoming. Ordered 4 sandwiches and everyone really enjoyed them. Prices are extremely reasonable and will be coming here more often.

“Been to the Lakehouse several times and this was our best experience. Let's get the negative out of the way first. God forbid you want to sit outside. They don't take reservations for outside (understood). Every time we arrive - we are told it will be 3 days (exaggeration) before a table will be available. We are seated inside. Two tables almost immediately leave plus one table is empty and obviously reserved. As a hostess, you should know who is done with dessert / ready to pay their bill. The way they handle outside seating is frustrating. All that said, our food was fabulous. The pork chop, salmon and cod - all excellent. Our server Alex, was friendly and attentive. He helped make the night as servers can do. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!“

“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

“The tasty food options are always changing, with some favorite staples remaining. The cocktails are also seasonal, which I love. Ambience is cozy and quirky. They're in between locations right now so no liquor license, but they let us know ahead of time and we were more than happy to BYOB (and in my case a premixed Manhattan—they provided me with a coupe glass and ice to shake my cocktail). “My Husband and I stumble across this place tonight and couldn’t be happier about it! From the moment we walked through the door on a busy Saturday night at 7:00pm we walk in simply based on a great name! The hostess Deanna was lovely and welcoming we were able to sit right away! The food was absolutely amazing and so were the drinks!! But the star of the show was the staff our waitress Emily was the best we have ever had! Just the right amount of attentive that we never looked for her and always felt taking care up. The busser also did an amazing job never a dirty plate on our table. We go out alot and I can’t remember the last time a restaurant covered it all flawlessly Service drinks and food. We have already texted friend excited to bring them here! “I'm fortunate that one of the best Chinese-American restaurants in the 3 Villages area (Amityville, Copiague, and Lindenhurst) is only a block away from my apartment. “I cannot BELIEVE that I have lived in Copiague for almost 2 years now and I have NOT been to Cantina Bay yet. Already one of my favorite places in the 3 Villages (Amityville, Copiague, Lindenhurst). The pasta was cooked to perfection and the bone-in veal parmigiana was, quite frankly, one of the best l've had. Without question, I would make Nola's my go-to place for its fare. The owner, Greg, clearly cares about and is vested in ensuring an exceptional customer experience and I highly recommend Nola.“

“We celebrated our anniversary at Bijou in Melville last weekend & it was our first time dining there. I was impressed that they have the kitchen behind a glass wall so that you can see just how clean they keep it! Our waitress was excellent, gave us some great suggestions & was all around a very attentive server. We started with drinks. I had the Lychee Martini & he had a drink called The Beckoning Cat. I LOVED the Martini & he said his drink was good but not his favorite. It was a Sunday night so we each only had 1 drink. Next we had an appetizer. We got the Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I was a little disappointed that it came with 3.... since that made it hard to split between the 2 of us... but I ended up having 2 and he had 1 because he could see how much I enjoyed the first one. They are DELICIOUS - the buns were pillow soft and the chicken was cooked perfectly crunchy, and they also had pickled onion & carrot on them. Next I had the the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice & the Blue Fin Toro roll. The crispy rice has Spicy Tuna, avocado, jalapeno, tobiko, wasabi cream & sweet soy (recommended by our server) which was delicious & just enough to fill me up along with the sushi roll. The Blue Fin Toro Roll has mango, cucumber, tobiko, wasabi mayo, chutoro, scallion, yuzu miso & tempura crunch - MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!! This was the BEST Sushi Roll I have ever eaten in my entire life!! He had the Marinated Wagyu Skirt Steak, which comes with shisho chimichurri & soy demi glace, and a side of Loaded Roast Potatoes. I forgot to take a picture... whoops! I tasted both & they were also delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed the marinade quite a bit. The potatoes were also very good, though nothing to go crazy for. Finally, our waitress asked if we wanted to order desert but we were both too full, so we decided to pass even though there were a few I did want to try. Then she came out with a fresh berry tart with a sparkler as an anniversary surprise!! Well, I had just enough room for that & it was also delicious!! All in all, a great experience and we will be returning in the future, for sure!!“

“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. “I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“

“This is a Chinese fast food, takeout joint. Our family has been patronizing this establishment for approximately 30 years. They can always be counted on to deliver, consistent quality Chinese dinners without any fanfare, hassle, or surprises. Would I put them in the class as a Ruth Chris steakhouse? Probably not. But I would put them as a reliable, good Chinese takeout that you can count on. They have, of course menu items, but also will customize the dishes to your preference.“

Even though it was very busy, our waitress Jenn was very attentive to the table and gave great recommendations on the menu. “Harley's American Grille Restaurant in Farmingdale is great place for Lunch, Brunch or Dinner. The place has been redone with a really nice decor. Menu is not extensive but offers a lot of great options. We had the Chicken Sandwich and the Wild Mushroom Ravioli.- both were delicious. They offer a Wine List. The service was awesome and Jesse our server was just amazing. Parking is hard in the Village but there are large metered parking lots behind all the stores.“
