Excellent food. Went here for an after celebration of life and enjoyed the fact that it was early and not crowded. Even though we phoned ahead they were not ready for us. The food was excellent as was the service after waiting for them to set up. There was 12 of us and we had their specials which included Pastrami Ruben and since it’s Octoberfest the wife had sausage kraut and red cabbage. Excellent. Food was ok but paying $16.00 for tiny little neck clams (and they weren’t even a dozen) along with some “not so there Oysters” was to say the least. There wasn’t very many people around and the waitress seemed rushed. On top of that there were signs everywhere “please tip in cash” and then when you get the bill, they tack on another 4% if you use your credit card. Living on Long Island during the Spring, Summer and Fall are wonderful. There are many beaches, boating, and places where fresh seafood one can have, I love the dockside restaurants on the south shore of Long Island.
