“My first visit during lunchtime with my buddy for his birthday. He knew the owner (Zoe) who introduced himself to me and was very friendly. He let us sample a few items. I ordered the Oxtail plate with rice & beans, and plantains. I also got sides of fried pork and a chicken patty to try. My buddy ordered a plate with the fried pork and chicken patty as well. The Oxtails were delicious! Everything else was seasoned well and the rice was excellent. The patty’s were flavorful, stuffed, and fried perfectly with a nice light crust. This is a small no frills place but nice & clean. You can also get orders to go. State street parking is challenging so you might have use a paid lot or pay for a metered parking space.“

“The most flavorful and well cooked ox tail.
Highly recommend.
The place has a few tables but the vibe is very much take your and get out of here, which I love it.
Medium oxtails with a rice and beans were big enough for my lunch and dinner.“
