“CJs deli is right down the street from our place. They are a new little mom and pop spot that Carrie's everything you need for a quick stop. Snacks, a sandwich, hot food, toilet paper, medicine...etc..I just needed a quick drink to go with my dinner and they were perfect..got in and out quickly and was happy to see they follow the covid guidelines enforcing masks.“

“So my husband stops here regularly for mussels to go for dinner. Their mussels are amazing, the sauce is great and you get more than 2 dozen mussels for less than $12! We went there for breakfast this morning, I had 2 eggs, bacon and toast with coffee and my husband had the same with home fries..again $12! I would absolutely recommend this place, cute atmosphere, they sell honey, some sundries and hot sauces! “What a hidden gem! Searched Bbq near me and this place came up. Looks like an old garage from the outside but there’s BBQ magic happening on the inside. Addicted to their Russian Gearhers and Balboa sandwiches. Fries even have a bbq zing. A must check out and try!!!“

“Alondra's is a fairly new restaurant in Middletown. It is a Mexican restaurant with most of the usual Mexican entrees. Instead, we ordered from the Special Entrees: Tres Amigos Platter and the Salmon Azado. Both selections were excellent. The Tres Amigos Platter has three main items: steak, shrimp, and chorizo. Also, the sides were guacamole, fried onions, and cactus. The chorizo, steak, and shrimp were plentiful and tasted very good. The fried onions, guacamole, cactus, and fried onions were excellent. The salmon was grilled perfectly and tasted very good. It was moist and flaky. The sides were black beans, rice, and a salad. We had leftovers for the next day. We would have rated Alondra's a five but we were disappointed that the restaurant did not list the price for a glass of wine. When we ordered the wine, the amount of wine in the glass did not justify the price of the wine. The restaurant has two entrances: one on King Street and the other on North Street. The restaurant is located a few stores from Franklin Square, the main downtown intersection of North Street and Main Street. Parking is available in the lot on James Street, at the rear of the restaurant.“

“What a wonderful deli! My husband and I stopped in for the first time today, 3/24/24, to get a sandwich to share. We got a HUGE turkey sandwich, a can of soda, and chips as a "lunch special" for under $12! And the sandwich was just great--a turkey on rye, mayo, onion, tomato, and just fantastic and giant. We really enjoyed it, and the lady who made it was very friendly and personable. We'll be back!!“

“Stopped in here for a cheesesteak, and it may have been the best I've ever eaten. The sandwich was perfect, all the ingredients fresh, and made much faster than I'd anticipated! I would have liked to have spent more time looking at the large variety of homemade jellies, jams, preserves, or other foods they offer, but ran short of time. Maybe next time, since I'm sure to go back.“

“The BEST sandwiches in Middletown! Reminds me of the ones I used to get back in the city. Lots of thinly shaved meat piled high with just the right amount of shredded lettuce, and thinly sliced onions! The bread is always fresh, and the sandwiches never disappoint. They also take cards now, so no need to get cash first. Super friendly as well.“

“I love going to Amber's sun shop. I go every day for breakfast, sometimes for lunch?. Her and her staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic. Not to mention it's always clean!!!!!!!!. My son is obsessed with her subs. Win win for me. OH and no BURNT coffee EVER. LOL The best way to start my day.“
