“Yes. I can now confirm that the bar side of Jessie's is officially a dive bar. That's OK. I really like dive bars. Darkish, check. Slightly grimy, check. Cheap drinks and food, check. The only thing wrong was that the bartender was actually very friendly and attentive. Good spot to have a cold one if you are in the vicinity of Greenwood Lake. The deli side was pretty cool as well. Featuring a very nice selection of sandwiches. Everything from breakfast bagels to cheese steaks to classic deli and more. I had the roast beef panini which was much better than I expected. Well prepared and delicious. I will definitely put Jessie's on my go to list.“
“Joe, the owner, is SO mean. EVERY day I wake up thinking "today is the day that I eat the food that I made purposefully for lunch" and then I look at the specials of the day at Big Mouth and the thought of doing such a thing disappears more quickly than it appeared, a distant memory, a sheer figment of my imagination. Fig and brie griller? Amalfi Coast wrap? LOBSTER RAVIOLI?!?! Yeah ok, let me ignore those and go eat my pb&j while I pretend it's nearly as delectable as their homemade loaded baked potato soup... yeah right?.I should mention that, much like a cobra, you have to unhinge your jaw just to take a bite of literally ANY sandwich they make. “So my husband stops here regularly for mussels to go for dinner. Their mussels are amazing, the sauce is great and you get more than 2 dozen mussels for less than $12! We went there for breakfast this morning, I had 2 eggs, bacon and toast with coffee and my husband had the same with home fries..again $12! I would absolutely recommend this place, cute atmosphere, they sell honey, some sundries and hot sauces! The prices are unbelievable and the food is top notch, plus the staff is friendly and efficient!“

“We had heard how good the food was so thought we would give it a try. The food was amazing. We got the chicken buŕrito which was enough for 2 people and the ingredients were very fresh. We also got 3 pupusas, which we has never had. They were handmade while we waited. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely going back again.“
“What a wonderful deli! My husband and I stopped in for the first time today, 3/24/24, to get a sandwich to share. We got a HUGE turkey sandwich, a can of soda, and chips as a "lunch special" for under $12! And the sandwich was just great--a turkey on rye, mayo, onion, tomato, and just fantastic and giant. We really enjoyed it, and the lady who made it was very friendly and personable. We'll be back!!“
“A walk into Otto's is a walk back into the past when neighborhoods had small businesses and everyone knew one another. But one thing didn't change. The high quality and authentic homemade German salads, delicious sandwiches, German specialties and frozen treats (for the Bogue Pond playground visitors) are tallied up the old fashioned way by Helmut, the owner, with a pencil on your bag. There's even an old hand-cranked cash register to make your change. I've been a customer over 30 years, and highly recommend. We need more places like Otto's Deli.“
“I got a take-out lunch after a hike in the area. The fish sandwich with tartar sauce was very good (and very obviously made in-house with care), and their cucumber salad was the perfect side dish. I had fun browsing the shelves of products while I waited, and even picked up some German-made Nivea cream (the best!). Danke!“
“We've been coming to "Ken's" Lake Wanda Store since it was "Larry's" Lake Wanda Store; In other words ... for decades. We've never had a bad experience. Occasionally, a friend and I treat ourselves coffee and tea, and some baked goods while we chat and enjoy looking at the lake. So relaxing. The staff has been very helpful and friendly to me. I like the pizza, and they always have a nice choice of baked goods. As for price, I don't mind. I like the convenience and I do my weekly shopping elsewhere. As far as I'm concerned, Lake Wanda Store - FOREVER!“
