“I enjoyed the service very much at Fogo De Chao in White Plains. The food was great and the service was amazing. Big thanks to Joshua Evans for attending and assisting me with the menu and choices.”

“We usually dine at the NYC location, but decided to dine here for Thanksgiving. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Service was outstanding . Very accommodating to our dining habits and needs. We never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed dining there. That means so much. The Thanksgiving menu had many delicious choices and the portions were perfect. We will return when in the area.”
“Tried the passion fruit boba tea, and it was so refreshing! The balance of sweet and tangy was perfect, and the tropical flavor really stood out. The boba pearls were chewy and fresh, adding a fun texture to every sip. Definitely a go-to drink when I want something fruity and light.”
“Great menu selection and friendly staff! This was my first visit, and I enjoyed everything. We started with the octopus and minestrone for appetizers — both were excellent. Our entrées were the halibut and the Assumbco specials, and they were outstanding. I'll definitely be back!”
“Excellent quality coffee and awesome Brazilian finger foods!!! Also wonderful Brazilian desserts, especially the Maracujá pudim and brigadeiros!!! 😍 It’s a bit of a drive from me but I always enjoy the coffee and the food. Also have a variety of Brazilian groceries that I don’t have to trek to Newark for. Thank you for being here! See you again soon!”
“On a busy street, Main Street. Place your orders, if you are going to grab and go. Very limited parking access ♿ for handicap parking. Wheelchair accessible to enter the establishment. The staff is friendly and helpful. A nice seating area to enjoy your Playa Bowl. Remember it's in a pedestrian court with other stores, away from the traffic noise, yes with seating outside, weather permitting.”
“Emma's continues to be a local treasure! They are consistently the most accommodating restaurant with a genuinely wonderful waitstaff. I never write reviews but after last night I'd feel very remiss. I had a “girls night out” with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter! Emma's was her personal choice. As a grandmother, nothing could have disappointed but there are very few restaurants in Westchester who take a reservation for 2 on Saturday night and shower you with so much attention. I need to call out our server, Richard D. because he personally attended to the dining comfort of a child on a busy night. Our female busser was also so sweet and friendly. Thank you, Emma's! I've been dining with you for many, many years but last night really brought your spirit into focus. Sometimes, we all need to see the world through the eyes of a child or a Golden Retriever ❤️❤️”

“Husband and I finally dined here a little over a week ago for an early birthday dinner for me and the entire experience was nothing short of sublime. Although I was tempted by the views from the window-side tables, I wanted the Kitchen Table experience, and it was an excellent choice. We drove down from Dutchess County (fyi, whoever designed the Taconic Parkway should be fired, but I digress). The complimentary valet parking made our arrival easy. We were directed to the elevator and from the moment we got off on the floor of the restaurant, we were greeted immediately, and the entire staff was incredibly attentive, polite, and welcoming. The main dining areas are nicely decorated and subtly sophisticated. The chef’s table experience was phenomenal. We got very personal attention from the chef and staff members, and enjoyed watching (and inhaling the aromas from) both the main kitchen and pastry side during our meal. The service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Water and wine were poured promptly, the pacing of the courses was perfect, and the explanation for the dishes and wine were appreciated. We decided to get the wine pairing, and the pours were both generous and excellently paired with the courses. It was a lot of wine so by the 4th or 5th glass, I was really feeling it and enjoying myself, to say the least. The food was outstanding across the board. I love seafood so I was quite happy with the 7 fish offerings. We started out with 3 different breads, all different and all delicious, and I’m pretty sure I ate the roasted yeast butter on its own, and then uni and yellowtail, which are 2 of my favorites. It feels kind of dismissive to say “all of the courses were delicious,” but they really were. The black cod, iberico pork shoulder with fava been puree, and the prime dry aged rib eye were probably my favorite courses. I wish I had more room since the chef offered us additional rib eye, but I was pretty much at capacity and we still had dessert. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The iberico pork dish was crispy, salty, full of umami flavor, and it paired perfectly with the grassy, herbaceous, and silky fava bean puree. There was only one course that I wasn’t as enthusiastic about, the bacalhau a bras carmelle. Each course was so good that I couldn’t wait to see if the next would top it. Each course was a few bites, leading up to the larger beef at the end. Of the 3 dessert courses, the first 2 were my favorite. The first was “pear” which was a contrast of textures and temperatures. It was really outstanding and the cold bits in the dessert were a nice, light contrast to the heavy meal we had just finished. The next was a tart/cold dessert with sweet potato shavings and biscuit-like crackers (my dearest apologies to the pastry chef, I cannot describe it any better). It was all so different and worked well together. Again, the contrast in textures/temperature/flavors worked so well together. By the last dessert course, I was fairly stuffed and couldn’t finish. Again, there was a savory component (lettuce) that was (and I’m guessing here) caramelized so it was sweet and I ate both pieces. There was a custard as well and the crust was so flaky, and I was sorry that I couldn’t eat more of it. 3 ½ hours later, we waddled out quite satisfied and happy. Next time, we’d skip the wine pairing because it was simply too much but I can’t wait to visit here again and try new dishes. I don’t think I can accurately convey how delicious our food was or what a great time we had.”
“Food is very good. Service is not bad. Ambience does not match price. There was no AC on a warm day: felt stuffy and hot. The first half hour I was there, small children (seem to be of either the owner or employee) were running around screaming. Not quite commensurate with the $75/person (including tip) price.”
“The food was tasty and the portions plentiful, the wait staff attentive but not intrusive. Excellent charcuterie board, some of the best truffled French fries I have ever had, a superb brisket sandwich, and a delightful affogato to wrap up. I will stop there again if I am in the area.”
“Love this place!! The Pasta Rustica is my favorite dish in all of White Plains. The service is amazing and they don't rush you out. We sat outside with friends and we chatted and stayed probably longer than we should have but the waiter never pushed us to leave, waited for us to ask for the check. That's rare in White Plains. Truly a great place.”
“Care and concern were the hallmarks of Mariposa starting with responsiveness when I asked Chef questions about the menu offerings even before making the reservation. Very flexible and accommodating with the menu resulting in many more offerings to choose from for those with challenging dietary restrictions. The staff created a special table arrangement for our group given mobility limitations. And then the wait staff consistently demonstrated their light touch at the right moment to meet our needs, answering questions, providing refills and options for consideration. I look forward to dining at Mariposa more regularly and hope that you will also.”
“Excellent everything they sell in this restaurant, my favorites are the empanadas.I recommend it [Original] Excelente todo lo que venden en este restaurante, mis favoritas son las empanadas. Lo recomiendo”
“Wow, what an amazing trading season! I just received my daily profit to my wallet. I couldn't have achieved this level of success without your incredible skills and hard work. I truly appreciate all your efforts, and I highly recommend Ralph Carico to everyone. They're the real deal!”

“This diner is great. Great staff. Great chef. Don’t let the looks fool you. I first experienced this place years ago as my wife was in the hospital for a long time. They were so nice. The food is good and the price is great. Try it just one time. Btw cash only! Worth it with the price!”
“A really great BBQ experience. We've been driving past this place for years, never had the opportunity to stop in. Today we made a special trip just to check it out. Well worth it! Had the ribs, chicken, and shrimp combo with q side of beans and potato salad. Oh, and cornbread. Chicken and ribs falling off the bone, no need to use the knife. Shrimp are nicely sized, and coated in an excellent cornmeal batter. Sauce on the ribs and chicken is sweet and smoky, exactly what my ideal barbecue sauce would be. The wife had the pulled pork sandwich platter with a side of mac-n-cheese, all of which were excellent. The platter came with a tremendous amount of fries! This is a counter service establishment, and the girl behind the counter was upbeat and very friendly. The atmosphere is like of one of those Memphis homes that was converted into a restaurant; small amount of seating, and comfortable and friendly. Ok, one thing, no sweet tea available, but some Snapple tea with lemon is an acceptable substitute. Definitely coming back”
“Thai Den has become our go-to Friday night take-out spot! The food is always hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Highlights are the dumplings (all of them!), pad see ew, massaman curry, thai roti, and thai basil. On top of the amazing food, the owner is always so warm and welcoming and knows us by name, and the reward points are generous and almost always ensure one of our entrees is comped in our next order. All around a local winner for us!”

“Thirty (30!) of us came to The Cabin for the very first time for a special midday Sunday private gathering, most from from Manhattan or Brooklyn & other parts of NY, but also from NJ< DC, South Carolina and even New Mexico, completely new to this chosen location, and we were stunned by both the quality and quantity of the servings, especially at such a reasonable price.
Five of of 7 at our table who had salmon were knocked out by the huge, yet still perfectly delicious portions, certainly the largest and tastiest I'd ever seen for, again, what was a very modest price. The rice was also unexpectedly zesty, enhanced by cinnamon (?) or some other wonderful herb or spice that we enjoyed but couldn't exactly identify. String beans were good, and we really were also pleased by the warm, seemingly fresh-baked rolls, the zesty caesar salad and our perfectly fine glasses of wine, both pinot noir & chardonnay.
Overall, a terrifically satisfying dining experience, especially at such a bargain rate.”
“We ordered a custom pizza with less cheese and extra crispy crust and it was made to absolute perfection. The balance of flavors was spot-on and the crispy texture gave it that satisfying crunch with every bite. It's clear they paid attention to the details of our order. One of the best custom pizzas we’ve had in a long time.”
“Our experience today was excellent. Our server, Rifah, was exceptionally attentive. She guided us seamlessly through the entire ordering process, even though we came as a family with several orders. The food was equally impressive especially the gyros, which were flavorful. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Def coming back!”
“We travel here about twice a year & we always make sure to grab our favorite pizza! The kids love the mozzarella sticks & pepporoni slices! I gave gluten sensitivity & they have the personal cauliflower crust pizza! It's the best pizza around. Always greeted with a smile! If you haven't tried Dom & Vinnies pizza, you are missing out!”

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.
Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch”
“I absolutely love going to this Jamaican spot for lunch, the atmosphere is fresh the staff are friendly , they always have good music playing, some days they’ll even play gospel music which I find to be very soothing . My favorite thing to order is their chicken soup which they will serve throughout the week and on Fridays they’ll bring out the fish soup which is AMAZING!!! Both soups are just bursting with flavor definitely 10/10 will always recommend!!!”
“I was in White Plains and saw the sign for Whale Tea—so excited to see that it was a boba shop! The shop is cute, and they have several self-service kiosks for ordering. The two baristas were friendly. I decided to order an egg bubble waffle and was given a choice of ice cream flavors. They made the waffle fresh, and it was warm, crunchy, and delicious—a perfect treat for the cold weather. The ice cream added a nice sweetness. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to try their boba!”
“This tiny Chinese takeout joint was pleasantly surprised!! Menu offers fried rice made to orders, i requested no salt or soysauce, the veg fried rice turned out delish!! Even plain fried rice with nothing but oil was yumm! Chefs were hard at work, phone orders were constantly ringing!! Thankful this restaurant takes card payments!! Highly recommend and loved to visit again if I were in the area!”
“Grew up in lower Westchester but had never been to Gianfranco's before tonight and feel as though I've been missing out!! Both the service and food were great. Chicken francese was delicious- the house salad and sauteed spinach were solid choices, and homemade bread was perfection. Will definitely be back!”
“After years of eating at all the local spots (Bamboo Garden, Peking, and New Great Wall) I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve had in White Plains. The extra drive is absolutely worth it. Portions are “old school” big, prices run about $2 to $3 less than other places, and they always throw in something extra for free. The egg rolls taste just like the ones you remember as a kid, and the boneless spare ribs were superb (IMO). My wife, who usually gets headaches when MSG is used, had no issues here, which says a lot. Just a heads up that it’s cash only and they don’t deliver, but honestly, that’s no big deal when you can eat this well without it costing an arm and a leg!”
“Was just walking by when that classic brick oven look and smell hit me right in the soul. They were closing, so I started to walk away — then out of nowhere, the guy yells in the most authentic Italian way possible, “Come in! We still got slices!”
Next thing I know, I’ve got hot slices boxed up, top-tier service, and I’m only out $10. Unreal.
Dave Portnoy needs to hit this place ASAP. I’m calling it now — solid 9.3/10. Straight-up hidden gem.”

“Such an inviting and comfortable restaurant. The staff is delightful and makes the extra effort to get things just right. The food is amazing. Fun times.”
“Hospitality And Environment was amazing, Food was overall 100/10 cooked to perfection and great selection of Dishes! The most fresh and high quality food and can compete with any NYC restaurant!!”

“I’m definitely giving this place five stars. Service was fine. The food was well above average. I can easily say the gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had and there’s no distant second in sight. The peanut butter chocolate mousse was good but it had a lot more chocolate than PB taste. I did notice one review complained about the smell. I think the men’s room was cleaned with straight vinegar. A little weird, but no big deal.”
