I must slight crowd good sign so far meaning the food was on a heavy rotation orders coming in and out, more of a reason for me to order. Who doesn’t like fresh food and they prices wasn’t bad at all let’s see how long that’s going to last before they start jacking it up,but that’s another story for another day. Place was clean so I placed my order mix over rice and lemonade to stay. “Can't blame for where this location is located. Parking is shared with a couple of other franchises with very limited. Small groups of youngins hanging out in the parking area smoking whatever which may create an uncomfortable atmosphere for many. Checkers itself is good. The food here was always fresh and tasty. I sure hope Mr. and Mrs. Moon ,( owners/ read these reviews, since they're no longer working here. The dish Japchae ( sweet potatoe glass noodle) was a great dish that I always ordered with grilled chicken. It was very tasty with it's own vegetables in the mix. The grilled chicken was always fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered this same dish and it only has a few slices of red pepper , a few greens. It tasted mostly like a Sriracha noodle. The chicken is not the same. It tasted strange. For one, it isn't the same white meat grilled chicken and even if it's dark meat, the issue was the taste. I'm truly dissatisfied. Please don't change the original dishes that made us fall in love with your establishment. Looking forward to your progress. Namaste 🌻“

“Great place. Very chill atmosphere and friendly staff. You get a lot of food for what you pay for and the texture and freshness is on very good. I also think the seasoning is very nice. Some korean fried chicken places have very over powering flavors for me but this is just right that i can eat more of. I also like how non-greasy the fried chicken is.

My favs are the spicy chicken thigh burger, boneless dark meat, the corn dog and the sausage and rice cake skewers.“

“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

“My mom ordered a chicken over over rice from this Shah's halal restaurant today. It was definitely top 5 -- for $9.99 they gave a lot of food. The chicken was cubed and not crushed up into shreds like most of the Shah's Halal food carts, and they gave a good amount of sauce. Also, I like how they use plastic containers instead of the disposable take-out containers. My food was made relatively quickly and it was moderately busy. Also, this store is not too far from me, so that's an added bonus. The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap.
