“Such a great neighborhood spot. I went there late the other night craving falafel, and even though they told me they had run out, the guy actually went downstairs to check and found some. He ended up making fresh falafel patties right there just so I could have them.
The sauces were incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though we ordered takeout, the hospitality was 10/10. It’s rare to find places that go the extra mile like that. Definitely coming back.“

“Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. Came on a Saturday, looking for different place for brunch. I was very surprised by how spacious the inside was. Really nice seating distribution compared to other shops around. The aesthetic of dark wood really cozes it up. I ordered the most random menu item, French Toast, even when there were awesome sounding specials. The menu is MASSIVE, and the food came pretty fast!
The french toast was impressively prepared, four slices with a veritable crunch on the outside and soft goodness in the center, fruit and whipped cream as a garnish. It also was a very light meal, even though french toast can be a heavy dish.
Definitely looking forward to coming back here to try other items!“

“I’ve been coming here for months, and it’s easily one of my go-to spots for a great meal. The wraps are always large, flavorful, and very filling - definitely worth it if you’re hungry. I also really appreciate how easy it is to customize; if there’s a specific ingredient you don’t like, they’ll make the adjustment without you having to pick a whole different wrap. The balance is perfect too - never overly sauced but never dry either. On top of that, the staff is always super friendly, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!“

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. GERMAN DONER KEBAB - EINE ERLEUCHTUNG Wenn man aus Berlin kommt, hat man gefühlt an jeder zweiten Ecke einen Dönerladen. Ich kann also einen Döner erkennen und beurteilen, wenn ich ihn sehe. Allein schon Berlin und Brandenburg verlassend wird das mit dem Döner innerhalb von Deutschland anders. Je weiter man sich von Berlin entfernt, desto schlechter werden die Döner. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. Also das war seit sehr sehr langer Zeit so ziemlich der beste Döner (mit Ausnahme einem Besuch in Berlin), den ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. “The food was good the waiter was good not a lot of tables but just enough. You can hear your conversation so it’s very comfortable. I had the turkey bacon and turkey sausage with scramble eggs and an English muffin a bacon egg and cheese was also ordered which was also tasty. Great breakfast.“

This has got to be one of the best smoothies that I ever tried. I love the flatbread so much it’s really good. I like the inside the most. The walls are so beautiful and it’s a lobster red. They have good smoothies here. It’s good to have it mostly during the summer whenever it’s too hot.“

“The food here is very good. They cook the food fresh in front of you. I went here on my lunch break one day and ordered two tostadas, they cooked the raw chicken right there. The food was well seasoned and it was cooked to order. As they were making my tostadas another cool took a tray of baked chicken out of the oven. It looked so good I almost canceled my tostadas for the chicken. Needless to say the tostadas were delicious. If you’re in the area give this place a try.“

“This was probably the best “Chicken Curry” I’ve ever had. The dish was accompanied by a side of cabbage that, at first, seemed boring. But I was trying to do it authentic all the way. The cabbage was delicate but still had enough bite to it which means they did not overcook it. I am super glad the I did. The dish was soooo delicious.
