“Had a pleasant lunch with an old friend. The food and service were great. I'll be back to try their dinner menu. The only quibbles I have is that it was a little chilly (my companion had to go to the car for a sweater) and the booth benches were so low (or saggy) that they made both of us feel like children sitting at the adult table.“

Always smiling, quick, you long for nothing, he is very accommodating in a timely fashion, he gives of nothing but positive energy, yet professional and efficient! Place was very clean, even with all covid rules practiced and followed accordingly, the place still felt like a "normal; Good old Tavern experience", just like the good old days before covid-19 corrupted the bar/social life ? .... “I've had several meals at the Tavern since the new owners and each dish I ordered was made perfectly. From a basket of fries to a giant (pizza box sized) fish fry. I had to take the fish to go and it wasn't soggy after being boxed, everything was very crispy and well seasoned. The daily soups are amazing. Very dedicated chef.“
