“Good evening! I could not go to bed tonight without acknowledging the fabulous service my two friends and I received at the Acropolis on Main Street. Our server Anthony C was outstanding! All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. You are blessed and lucky to have some like him on your team. We do a monthly dinner on Main Street and are already planning on coming back to Acropolis for our September dinner (if we can find out when Anthony C is working!) Thank you Anthony for a night of fabulous service and great laughs!!“

“My wife and I stopped in to Amici Diner on main st in Williamsville for breakfast today. What I treat , hometown cooking at a reasonable price! I had the cowboy omelette (western) my wife had the veggie omelette. We both had hash browns, toast and coffee. Everything was so tasty, Thanks to the owners Nicole and Nancy who make everything fresh daily ! We live in North Tonawanda but see doctors out this way . “Another awesome experience, our server was Lexi and she was amazing, knew how to joke around and took our antics in stride. Extremely courteous, attentive, friendly and made our dining experience a great one. We we’re at the Transit location a month prior for a club dinner and had a great time then too. If you go and have either Lexi or Lydia as your server - just know you’re going to have a great time! They both went above and beyond. Food was good, service was incredible. Our visit was only disappointing in the fact that we had to leave. I don’t eat out often but the last 2 times I’ve chosen Olive Garden on Transit and do not regret it at all. “I’m so happy we decided to stop in on our way out of WalMart. We ordered the chicken sandwich combo, and I was surprised to see the different levels of heat that you can choose from. I got mine without the slaw so I can’t comment on that, but the sandwich was delicious. It was an actual breaded chicken breast, not a patty. Cooked perfectly and piping hot. The seasoned fries are also very good, and this is coming from someone that doesn’t care for fries too much. My daughter was ecstatic because they have loganberry in the fountain machine. “Everything I've ever tried at Mayback's has been delicious. From the breakfast pizza to the regular pizza. This is one of the only places in the 716 that makes good chicken fingers (the honey mustard ones are divine) and a good cheese steak. The fish fry is the best I've had in years. If you want a real treat try the turkey sub with pickles and extra meat. The freshest salads I've ever had. Food is amazing, prices are great, and everyone who works there is friendly. They've got something for everyone. Easily my favorite place to get food in Buffalo.“

I ordered the tuna sandwich as a melt, never had an issue before. this time, they (Tiffany) told me since I asked for it as a melt it would be $3.75 for a piece of lettuce on it, and another $3.75 for a tomato slice on each half of the melt. Both of which come on the tuna sandwich which is what's on the menu. (One would think they would only charge for the cheese, since it was asked for as a melt) The greek potatoes were over cooked mush, and I ended up taking them home, only to throw them out. “What a neat discovery. I love soup any time of year so I was ready to try this. I had bean and ham and, unlike most places, the soup was served nice and hot. The soup was good, but my sandwich was fantastic. I had a #14 chicken sandwich with melted fontana and grilled portobello mushroom. It practically melted in my mouth. The sandwich was just the right size...I'm tired of massive overstuffed food. This was just right. I'll definitely be back next time in town.“

The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a choice of potato salad or macaroni salad. I chose the latter. The mac salad was very tasty. My biggest pleasure was the dill pickle. It was terrific - crunchy and not overwhelmed by the spices or vinegar. It was more akin to the store-bought Clausen brand pickle. Well done!“
