“It is always a pleasure speaking with Junior. He is kind, polite and courteous. The food is absolutely delicious! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Entres are tasty! Catering is great! Delivery is great! They do not skimp on taste, or portion size. The variety of soups is comforting, especially for this Winter season. My favorites are the Greek, Split Pea, Matzo Ball (a must try), and chicken veg. However, wasn't a fan of Turkey Corn Chowder should have cooked turkey breast and not deli turkey. The chowder was good but not the deli turkey.“

“Came to New York from Florida and was on the hunt for an authentic deli for the famous BECSPK and came across brothers deli.
Upon walking in, the young man at the register was dealing with a customer fighting over 5 cents trying to scam the store. I watched it all unfold. The worker kept his cool, stayed firm on his response and professional.
Even after the customer left he didn’t complain about the interaction! I like that!
We joked and talked about visiting home ( NY) after being away for many years and the nostalgic candies we saw waiting.
Needless to say, we came back almost daily for their breakfast. Absolutely perfect, they accommodated our allergy request and was greeted with a smile and nice conversation each time. There is something special about knowing your value in a store and they definitely made us feel welcome, for a little corner deli, They are making a nice footprint in the community!
We would love to comeback and say hi during our next visit!

“Places like this are why I say Long Island NY has the best food in the world. The staff looks and acts like they're focused on quality food and service. The deli itself is clean and organized. Get one of their sandwiches (I recommend corned beef) and for about 12 bucks you have a fine lunch or dinner.“

“Tried Mike's for the first time after passing it by a million times. I was very delighted to say the least. I ordered the chicken cutlet club sandwich, and I was told it would be a few minutes because they make the cutlets fresh. Something you don't see often. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. “Deli Boy makes great sandwiches. Very fresh and tasty ingredients. I only recently moved to the area so I have been to a few delis in the freeport Baldwin area. I would say that all my orders have been over the phone for pick up. Because of COVID I wont open rh e sandwhich but all of my sandwiches I have asked for cheese but everytime I get home .....there is none. Its my faukt though I know netter to watch my food being prepared and making sure all the ingredients are there. AI havent really fully enjoyed the sandwich becuae its missing a key ingredient. It hapoened again today. Gbey write the order down perfect on the ticjetbut the sandwich doesnt have evefything on it . “Excellent variety of feta cheese, at least 6. I don't buy feta from the supermarket, it's a waste of money, only from here. The frozen feta/ spinach pies an amazing easy dinner for both family and friends. The olives are amazing. I shop here at least once/ months. Parking in the back. Prices are good.“

“Food is decent; my husband loves their breakfast and Philly cheesesteak. I would have given 5 stars, but I ordered breakfast here this weekend. I was accidentally given French fries instead of the French toast. This is not that big of a deal but the man at the counter argued with me that I ordered French fries, instead of offering to fix the $40 order. It was 8:50am and I already had ordered hash browns with my breakfast; I wouldn’t have ordered French fries with that.“

“I started going to Jim's in the early 90's. This would be the spot I would hit with Uniondale natives Leaders of the New School before hitting Chung King Studio in NYC to be deafened by Busta Rhymes turning those 15 inch studio speakers up to 10 🤣.

My go to was the hot pastrami on a hero. I didn't think it was a better sandwich in the world.

As the years went on, I still visited this deli. It always was a familiar neighborhood staple. It even kept the same aesthetic.

What was super impressive is they knew the regulars by name and what they wanted to order. All you had to do was show up.

I visited today and was hit with a whole new Jim's. The old cash register on the left is now a hot food station. Said cash registers now on the right with an LCD readout.

There is a coffee station in the middle of the floor. Chairs and walking space occupied this space prior. This now places a wall in the middle of the floor. Although it disrupts the Feng shui, clearly a functional because there's a lot of coffee options. That goes great with the bagel and pastry selections that have been added as well.

They have seem to expanded those pastry options. As well as added fresh bagels at 12 for 9 dollars

The worker that helped me today was very attentive and a Uniondale native as well.

The new owners kept some familiar elements like the extensive custom sandwiches brightly displayed on LCD screens. But a lot of it has changed and the new owners definitely made it their own.

It's nice to be greeted with a bright and clean establishment that sells food. That is one of the things I look for.

I will definitely visit again and see it It lives up to that Jim's legacy“
