“Parkway is my go to local deli. I've been going to Parkway for many years and I always order the usual an egg sandwich & iced tea/iced coffee. The large iced teas and iced coffees are what I usually see most people visiting for. One popular iced coffee they make is called the parkway mix. It's very sweet and sugary, but totally worth it. They also have great lunch sandwiches as well. I love that whenever I visit, everyone behind the counter is very friendly and welcoming!“

The lunch hours can get pretty crowded and busy but is worth the wait. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. “The customer service was splendid. I ordered the Ham Classic Signature Sandwich with no tomatoes. The lady cashier was so nice. The man in the back made my order. I spoke to him and he was nice as well. I ate the sandwich and it was good, but they put honey mustard with the mayonnaise. That wasn't a good combo for me. I think next time, I'll only get the mayonnaise. I ate their oatmeal raisin cookie and it was good, too. I purchased their champagne mustard and can't wait to see how that tastes.

Parking: The location of the establishment is next to a Good Year tire company. I missed this location on the GPS, since it is so tiny. Look for Good Year and it is in a parking lot with a bagel shop and some other stores.“

This is not that big of a deal but the man at the counter argued with me that I ordered French fries, instead of offering to fix the $40 order. It was 8:50am and I already had ordered hash browns with my breakfast; I wouldn’t have ordered French fries with that.“

All delicious but my favorite has to be the carnitas, and this is mostly because the owners wife makes the pork from pork shoulder and she's Dominican so she makes it as pernil which I grew up eating and it's my favorite rendition of pork. So it's fair to say that I've been here like 3 times in the past month and a half after finding this spot ? but it's bc in all honesty these are some of the best tacos in the area (Elmont/valley stream) and especially the best carnitas (pork) tacos in the area. We can try and compare other spots, but I promise you it's just your pride lol if we are talking Elmont this is the spot. Very authentic and the portions are crazy, I can throw down but I'm good with 4-5 tacos. Tbh once you go into 5-6 you're gonna be in the food baby territory of fullness, just get a Jarrito for the bevy and you'll be golden beloved.“

If you eat here and don’t try the potato salad you have made a grave error and I am going to have to question your credibility on all things food or food adjacent. Make good choices and eat this potato salad. Eat it slowly. Shed a tear for yourself, because if this is the first time you are eating it….. you have sorely missed out on something special. You deserve it. I had the New York Deli Classic. Pastrami that has attained the level of mana. That’s all you and your kids, family and weird work friends need to know. If you do not try this sandwich, I will come to your home and let your pets go and dump your neighbors’ trash bins into your yard. You have been told. Do something about it. Eat here or else Fido will be loosed on the neighborhood.“

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is THE place to eat. They serve a massive variety of foods for all three meals. There's a hot bar, meats, acai bowls, omelettes, bagels, egg sandwiches, regular sandwiches, subs, deli, smoothies, juices, fruit.….EVERYTHING!!!
No matter what we ordered here, it was delicious and fairly priced.
The folks who run the place are genuine and friendly, especially the dude up front who looks like Adam Sandler. Lol.
