Stop by to Dine. Great Food!!
I waited 45 minutes for bagel and cream cheese, and wasted my time. If you have any options, I would not recommend trying here.
Stunning all day fun to the top of WF and back!
Very nice course. Well maintained.
We are very displeased! I was quite taken back when we had to pay a large fee at a toll booth before we could drive up the mountain. The cost for a driver is $15. If there is 1 passenger its an additional $15.($30) if you have 3 or 4 more passengers its an additional $25. ($40.) And if you have 6 its an additional $40. ($55.). Apperently this a DISCOUNT price. Due to covid the Castle and gift shop isn't open, Elevator is not working, and venturing up to the famous lookout at the summit is prohibited. So you have the ride up and back in which you can pull off and take pictures along the way.
We were excited to see the cozy atmosphere of the place, but that’s about where the excitement ended. We waited 10 minutes for someone from the staff to talk to us, another 5 to be sat, another 10 to get menus. Our food, which was sandwiches and soups, took an hour to come out of the kitchen...and didn’t come out at the same time. Then, we had to ask a few times to get silverware, napkins and pickles. The place was literally half empty when we got our meals. Honestly, the food wasn’t horrible for a ski resort- it was hot and exactly as described... but the service was frustrating, especially for a family looking to get lunch and get back on the mountain. When we confronted the manager about the ticket time, they explained that they were short a staff member and discounted us...$5. Overall, it might be best to find one of the other restaurants so you can get back out to the slopes within an hour of sitting down.
Fancy music, fancy seating and fancy prices. But they don’t know how to operate a restaurant. Gave out 1/4 main course dishes before the appetizer, then the poorly assembled and poorly planned cheese board and then 2 more meals and then 15 minutes later the 4th meal comes out. Waitress avoided us and finally admitted it was training day to us. Only problem was she was the one that was training people and she couldn’t even serve our table. She gave us a small discount for the food arriving late but the price was still outrageous for the service delivered.
The chicken caprese sandwich is good and a very good portion size. Homemade chips are also good. Pricey compared to the main lodge cafeteria but more quiet atmosphere.
Second best spot on the east coast for all sorts of winter activities. Just a short ride is Lake Placid where you fine dining, have drinks, explore the Olympic grounds or just take a romantic walk. I love it here!!!
It’s an amazing place filled with rich history of USA Olympics. A great place to ski or ride !

We love whiteface and go every year! Their Oktoberfest is great, the tour staff is informative and polite The view is breathtaking from the summit!
Service is friendly. Only Stella on draft - but make sure to ask about all the bottles they have.
