Beautiful in the snow! We paid a small fee to rent shoe spikes and walk along the gorge. The trails were closed because there wasn't enough snow to snow shoe but it was still worth it and such an experience!
A great light hike for almost anyone! We went right after a snow fall so we got to see the falls all frozen over. Like others have stated, it is so much more than any words or pictures can depict. Definitely buy online ahead of time, there is a discount for buying them online. With the snow, they had complimentary YakTrax for shoes ready to go with workers to install them. On the weekends, they have marshmallows ready for roasting at the end of the hike!

We visited on a Saturday in early February. We were fitted with traction devices on our boots for safe walking and headed out on the Waterfall Walk. There were so many beautiful views along the way…Whiteface Mountain, 4 Waterfalls, Ice Formations and a Whirlpool. We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit and relaxed for a while before heading in for a hot chocolate at the cafe.
