This is our go-to spot for a delicious quick meal on our way to or from the Catskills. The Ramen with coconut curry broth and pork belly is divine. Service is always friendly and efficient. The food and drinks are dependable. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the patio on a pleasant summer evening.

We had heard great things about this restaurant, but the noodle soup was definitely lacking in flavor, especially the vegetarian. Disappointing for the price… We still had a good time together.

I've never been personally, but my pal Nick Becker (Ol Dusty) is a frequent flyer and absolutely raves about the frickin place. Yeah I'd love to make it there some day.

Got a noodle bowl. The udon was soggy and broken. The seitan was too salty. I got the coconut curry which was good but others I went with said the other broths were flavorless. Also there was a very long wait.

I ordered the noodle bowl with tonkatsu, pork-chicken broth, and braised pork. It's a generous portion and comes with a boiled egg (hard-boiled, though possibly from carryover cooking) and assorted vegetables (I saw mushroom, carrot, cabbage, and broccoli in mine).
I liked the braised pork, and I enjoyed the broth more over the course of the meal though I was overwhelmed at first. I wish there had been more detailed descriptions on the menu of what all the options were. The braised pork was pull-apart tender and had a crispy skin (though not really noticeable due to being in soup). However, the flavors were weaker than expected compared to other Asian food, and the only provided additional sauce was sriracha. I didn't see hoison sauce, salt, or pepper. Ramen shops don't provide these either, but compared to most ramen places I've been the flavor was more subtle, as if expecting the eater to adjust.
However this was their most open-ended option, and it's possible their more chef-driven options taste stronger.
Service was a little slow which was a small annoyance because of the cold outside. I'm taking into account that the place appeared reasonably busy but it didn't seem short-staffed by any means.
The shop benefits from its location, which is right next to the main throughway in Woodstock. While we were eating, there was a drum circle in the nearby park, which was pleasant. However, it was also unseasonably cold for May. Since this is neither the fault nor the plan of the restaurant I'm giving them 4-stars because your seating options are either metal square mesh tables outside or long wooden picnic tables (family style) inside.
Overall, a good casual option.

I’ve been coming to this Yum Yum since my childhood and although it’s changed quite a lot, it never fails to make my day. Love this place!

Well there is good service here and I had good food as well but it is quite mediocre. I think when trying to do so much sometimes, the messaging or theme can be lost. Like the grounding part of it all. I love Asian cuisine and Yum Yum tried however there are great vegan options which I appreciate. The Thai Iced Tea with coconut milk was good. I enjoyed the Seitan Bao Buns. The curry ramen was lacking in flavorful, goodness and heartiness. Not my favorite but filled me up. The Seitan Korean Tacos were also tasty as well as Kale Salad so as an appetizer spot it’s solid but theory lost me on the entrees because the tofu dish was just straight up watery.

They had a very good selection of vegetarian options, including their homemade seitan to add to any dish. The seitan was juicy and not tough. I most enjoyed the bibimbap and the “drunken noodles”. The atmosphere here was amazing.

We ate here the other evening and the food was great! The pork udon ramen was delicious and full of tasty vegetables. My friend had vegetable ramen and they graciously adjusted it to her dietary needs. The waitress was pleasant and helpful.

Cool spot in woodstock! Love the vibes inside, boba was good, and so was the ramen. Not the best i ever had, but still good nonetheless.

The pad Thai was just ok. The dumplings were not good at all. I did enjoy the cocktails though.

The first thing I would say about Yum Yum Noodle Bar is that I am very surprised by this restaurant's positive rating. I live between Europe and the United States and my passion has always been eating, cooking and exploring new delicious and creative restaurants, especially Asian ones.
Yum Yum's problems are too many to list them all. I'll just start by saying that it doesn't offer Asian cuisine at all and that every dish we ordered for takeout contained a jumble of colorless, sticky and tasteless ingredients, thrown onto the plate without any aesthetic or culinary criteria. If we had eaten blindfolded, it would have been impossible for us to describe what we were ingesting. I understand that the offering of authentic Asian food is limited outside certain urban areas but this restaurant is truly an insult to one’s palate. Despite the steep price, we ended up throwing most of our dinner in the trash.
