La Grotta Reviews
Last Night was my third time coming to this restaurant and I have to say they NEVER disappoint. Food is amazing here from the bread, baked clams, shrimp scampi & of course the lava cake. It was all delicious and portions are great. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner date close to home with an elegant feel.
I came here for a farewell party expecting the food to be average. I was pleasantly pleased. Although the appetizers (calamari) had chunks of salt on it, the other appetizers were tasty (baked clams, eggplant, artichoke). The main courses were all wonderful. The steak was cooked perfectly with an over abundance of onions. The chicken parm was thin and breaded well. The salmon was moist and flavorful.
Food was excellent. Dishes were served family style. Went for a 50th Wedding Anniversary party and had the upstairs room. Difficult for the older people but room was self sufficient with it's own restrooms. Plenty of time between courses to mingle.
