“the absolute BEST steak sopes i’ve ever had and i’d consider myself a bit of a harsh critic. easy 10/10. the chilaquiles en salsa verde with steak added were also 9.5/10. egg on the chilaquiles were a bit overcooked but that’s on us as we forgot to tell them to leave it a bit runny (a preference thing). the sauce was flavorful, tastes fresh and sits very smooth. just be aware they do not serve liquor (i love a good margarita with dinner) which is no problem, as they had many jarrito options and aguas frescas. we had the churros and tiramisu for dinner which were also very delicious. the churros had some kind of cinammon cream filling inside and came with dark chocolate sauce on the side, delicious! will be back!!“

“The place had been closed for a while but the reopened and the carnitas tacos are still excellent. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the world. So far the best tacos I have had in Yonkers. I always get the carnitas tacos and they are always so flavorful and the place is simple but nice and clean. The carnitas are always tender. I also get the horchata. This is the place I always go to for Taco Tuesdays. Hands down the best chimichanga in the area, the service is great and the people are very friendly. I've been here several times and never had to wait long for my food. A must of your looking for good authentic Mexican food.“

“It’s a chill vibe. I only went for their drinks since they promote it p well. With the first I had a margarita with a focused mango flavor and it was really delectable. You honestly couldn’t taste the alcohol but it is a bit stiff. Mixed with the tajin rim, the spice overtakes making the drink go down smooth. I recommend for anyone looking for a soft taste and a good amount of liquor.
With the Negroni, it was rough. It’s not that you can taste the alcohol it just tastes like a mix of dark liquor and orange. It’s not as flavorful as the one before but the taste of orange is there thought NOT prominent. Luckily either doesn’t really taste like liquor so it’s really between anting another flor or settling on knowing there’s alcohol in the drink. The vibe does seem like nice though. I’m here on a solo adventure and I don’t feel as though I’m tucked away in a corner. There’s space for a party but also for someone just trying to find a bar
The only issue I have with this is having a QR code for the menu. It made the interacted with the bartender a bit awkward since she was kinda staring at me waiting to make a choice. I wasn’t upset with either of them so they definitely have their best on top of the list. I would recommend for a solo adventure or a small friend group

“Omg, I went in to pick up an order for someone else and decided to try their tacos. Well let me tell you guys, I was impressed the tacos were so delicious.. They had so much flavor and the variety of meat choices I tried was nice & tender and juicy with all the ingredients that they topped with it and when i added the sauces like sour cream, the green hot sauce, the red one and the guacamole gave it an extra kick! When I tell you I love it so much I have to go back best tacos I’ve ever tried I give not a 5% but 100% for the owners service and professionalism & very friendly he served me with a nice cold drink called “Agua de Horchata” it was so refreshing and delicious too. It was my first time a this restaurant and it will not be my last I was extremely satisfied with their service and all the tacos like he said I would and he was absolutely correct.. “Nice local option.I'm not even sure of the name of this place as I believe ownership might have changed at some point or two. On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. For locals of course, walking is the best option.All in all, a nice local business and again, great option in the area. I will be back of course.“
