“The breakfast there is the ideal and classic NY diner style. The food is always hot, and cooked to perfection, not under seasoned, not over seasoned. Their use of oil and butter is also great, as it is not too greasy but just enough to add texture and be used as a cooking agent. Pancakes are great, and the eggs, bacon and sausage are all great as well. Home fries are what I would consider ideal, not to greasy or over seasoned, but crunchy on the outside and stuff on the inside. The atmosphere is what you would expect at a classic dinette, small and cozy. The aesthetic tastefully combines modern with the 50s "lunch car" decorum. The service is very good and all the waiters/waitresses we're very attentive and kind. Would definitely recommend.“

“I passed this diner for years while making deliveries and never realized what was inside. Thanks to Instagram, we finally made it inside. Plenty of parking in the lot. There is an outside patio for when the weather is nice. Very clean and updated inside. It has a good feel when you walk in, definitely not a typical diner. Friendly and helpful staff.We definitely came because of Instagram. They do a great job getting attention and make it a draw. The food is good, but it is overhyped. We tried a few different menu items. There is a section that literally says Instagram favorites. The names are catchy and definitely appealed to me. They also have a full diner menu. I had the Mac and cheese burger which was on the regular menu. Very delicious. I preferred it over the Instagram section. We also tried the Jersey Shore and Bronx Tale Wrap. Both were good, but definitely overhyped. I would come back if in the area, but wouldn’t be looking to make a special trip.“

Our experience wasn't quite as good as usual, although the food was great (very fresh thick cut turkey on a club and perfect fries both stand out) .. the service was just okay. Boss man is taking some well deserved time off (Pete you work too much) and I hate to attribute one visit to such a thing, but it bothered me to hear the family leaving talking that way ... Maybe there was something to it.“

“I really did enjoy my time at this diner. The food was really good as I had the Nutella Banana Pancakes which were amazing. The only downside is if you plan on going with a group and trying to split a bill by paying cash and card. I highly recommend having a designated person to charge out on their card and have the guest pay their share to the card holder. Even if everyone were to pay with cash you will run into how to divide up the tax as it will be different for each person depending on the cost of their meal. I know it sounds silly but thats how they function. I do highly recommend this diner for its food and service at the end of the day.Parking: Parking along the front with centered wheel chair spots. Parking along the right side of the diner and the rear.“

“Stopped in here for the first time. I’m so glad I did. I was eyeing the place for a while but had not had the chance to try it. The food was excellent. Everyone in our party was very happy with the food. The owner and the server were both kind and interesting. We had good conversation and enjoyed meeting nice people as much as the food. The atmosphere is cozy and interesting as well.I read some of the negative reviews and I have to say, if you’re looking for drive-through speed then you should probably expect drive-through food. Not that anything was slow, but this is a small place and a possible wait should be anticipated if it is busy. Especially since the food is fresh and delicious, made to order.Will visit again soon. This place is uniquely awesome. I’m almost selfishly reluctant to leave this review as I want it to remain a hidden gem.“

“My family and I came here to eat for the first time. The service was great and pretty efficient. Food was good except one plate came out super late as one order was not accounted for. And for the 20-25 minute wait the plate of food was not worth it. We got dessert as well and everything was okay. Basic desserts were good, but stuff like the Napoleon was not the best. But regardless of all the food and wait time for it the service was amazing and was super polite and nice.Parking: By the restaurant but limited space and can be a bit tricky to get out.“

“I was visiting and taking care of my aunt in the area and my parents drove us to the 202 Diner. I'd never been here before but instantly knew what I wanted without looking at the menu. I knew that I had to try a cheeseburger with fries and a Diet Coke, my favorite diner food. I didn't have to look at the menu to know that they would have it. I also of course asked for dipping ketchup on the side. When my food came in a decent amount of time, I took note of the fact that my fries were warm but my burger was a little cold. It was still really good, but it could have been a little warmer. I know that I ordered my burger to be as rare as possible, but that shouldn't affect the temperature. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, and I had a good time with my family. The bathrooms were clean, and our tables were clean too. The waiter who took our order was also friendly, and the prices were fair. I can't complain too much.“
