they just re-opened under new ownership, and the food was amazing, drinks were fantastic and affordable, and the service was awesome. 11/10 recommend.

The 1 burger is a compilation of meats but is pretty good. They tend to overcook it a little so plan accordingly. The bolognese was not flavorful but the flatbread was super good. Unless you go with the pork chop or beef medallions, just stick with the burger or flatbread. $13-$16.00

Went for the first time to attend a wine pairing dinner. Chef Ben came out and explained each dish. We had risotto, lamb chop lollipops, truffle fettuccini, beef carpaccio, and duck. Everything was amazing and paired extremely well with the wine. When we were done with dinner, we headed downstairs to the live blues music.

made reservations over a month ago. Just happened to check website because I wanted to look at the menu, only to find out that the restaurant was closed. No notice was given to me that the restaurant had closed (remodeling) via phone or email. This is the second time this has happened to me. I will not make the effort to try this place again.

Great steak and salmon - but closed for a retooling, and reopening soon. Great wait staff, excellent food, cool environment.

Stayed at the blu tique hotel last night. Restaurant wasn't open yet so we went to the blu plate for dinner. Took 15 min to get our drinks then we waited 40 min for our food. There were only a few customers so the weren't busy. When the food arrived everything was cold. Ordered roasted root vegetables as my side and they sent out brussel sprouts. I was confused as they grow above ground and root vegetables grow underground lol. Sent the food back and paid $20 for a beer and one mixed drink. Went to Brico, much better. Food arrived in 10 min and was hot and delicious. Avoid blu plate.

The music was great and the service was fantastic. Our steak was very overcooked. Although we didn't complain, our server noticed and arranged a discount on our dinner. Our server was excellent. The music was wonderful. The salmon was delicious and so were the vegetables. We will definitely return after the restaurant reopens. We didn't know it was going to close and there would be limitations (no bread-really). Despite everything we had a fun night and will return, especially because our server helped make it a great night and we really enjoyed the music.

Used the online reservation service. Booked a standard table ( not a high top) for two on New Year's Eve. Later in the day, I called to confirm my reservation was in place. The woman that answered the phone assured me it did. She did NOT advise me that there was a limited menu for the time I booked. There was no notice on their website either. Upon our arrival the hostess tried to steer us to a hightop table several times, even though I stated on my reservation that I chose a standard table. We were greeted with a small paper listing a few appetizers and told it was a price fixe of $25 and that there was no dinner menu available, only this. It consisted of a variety of olives, goat cheese balls, toast points, chicken wings, lamb meatballs, sauerkraut balls and various sauces for dipping. On this evening's limited menu, was listed Marcona almonds which they did not serve. When I asked the waitress to bring some to our table, she sent the chef over to explain they did not have any almonds. I know these almonds well, as I used to get them at West Point market when they were still in business, a very expensive item! I told the chef they should reduce the $25 fee because they listed them and are not providing them. It's one of those specialties that I really enjoy! I also mentioned that nowhere on their website did they alert your customers that there wouldn't be a full dinner dinner menu even though that's all they showed on their website. I got a snarky response from the chef. And, if you are looking for any kind of ambience, this is not the establishment for you.

The food was delicious and the service was very good. We were greeted immediately and seated. I had the salmon with mashed sweet potatoes. The flavors were superb. We had a wonderful evening. After dinner we went downstairs for The Cabaret Project STORM. It was a spectacular performance. Looking forward to them coming to Blu again soon.

The food really has gone downhill in this establishment. The ambiance, cocktails and energy are all still top notch but the changing of the chefs has really had a negative effect on the food quality. :(

Came to see a show. Place was packed and obviously short- staffed for the crowd. Took a long time for service, drinks, etc. Had we known, we'd have come sooner to allow more than 90 minutes for the dinner.

What's really disappointing about tonights dinner is the inconsistencies in service and staffing. All started off well with water and drinks. We ordered salads though was never offered bread with the salads, neither was the table sat after us - ironically other tables who were seated afterwards got bread - I heard the server say it was just out of the oven. The servers got busy quick and were overwhelmed. We had to ask a couple times for water refills but tried to be understanding of the staffing issues. We were fortunate we didn't get billed for the mushrooms and onions I ordered with the steak - for $4 I got about a quarter cup of mushrooms and onions, 3 mushroom slices to be exact. Those got delivered well after the food was out. The filet was delicious which lost out to everything else going on. We also ordered the Cuban sandwich which was really good. We split the wedge salad, also good. Sadly, this has been an on going/repeat issue here and most likely our last visit.
