Burger King in Akron

The bathrooms are clean the service is good everybody The food is served fast and hot. We really like coming here, and the people are extremely pleasant all of them. Thank you“

“The kids love it and it hits a sweet spot of nostalgia... wishing I were in my 20's and 30's again when I didn't really feel the effects of the food as much. I still indulge obviously but if I don't want to gain those pounds, I have to be selective. Enjoy it while you can folks“

“Rob Bass said it in his rap song and it was the truth back in the 80’s. The Whopper was a treat each and every time that I bought one. It’s still not the Burger King of old, but they have really improved upon the quality doesn’t matter, serve them anything Good Burger, keep cranking ‘em out stage / that it appeared that they took for the first 24 years or of this century. I left many Whoppers unfinished during this stage. I kept going back even though I knew that I would leave disappointed. They changed the fries recipe so many times that I began to prefer their minced onion, onion rings over the like warm never crunchy sticks. Today my fries were crunchy and my Patty Melt was “One tasty burger!”
My only regret? One flavor of diet soda. Come on! Wendy’s has a million flavors now Arby’s and Taco Bell even give me a choice. Get Diet 7up or a diet Root Beer flavor, please?
The mini Churros taste as good as the Churros taste at a carnival. The chocolate dipping sauce was pretty artificial tasting and lame, but I’m sure other flavors will come.

“Burger King is always delicious. This location comes and goes, it all depends on which staff is working. Some days things are very fast with no issues. Other days you will be waiting and the food will be sloppily prepared. Some days the staff are very polite and very friendly. Other days the staff seems like they are just there to get a paycheck and customer service isn't a priority. Overall this location is clean and has pretty decent customer service and food.“

“After service so rude from Freddy's (across the street) we canceled our order and had our faith restored in humanity by the employees at this store. The woman who took our order was kind, respectful and went above and beyond to check to see if you had spicy chicken fries. Entire staff was pleasant and food was fresh. Had to state how much we appreciated it after the horrible service at Freddy's. Thank you BK crew!“

“I can honestly say that I eat from here way to often so I can verify that it's a great place to grab a bite to eat.The staff at this location are awesome and make quality fast food ? the turnaround is typically super fast even when packed and the quality is 9.8/10 every time, and that's just because we know you've seen the salad and just happen to forget about it every time lol ?I have built up a lot of trust that it's done the right way the first time and I'm yet to be disappointed after 2 years of eating here. After hesitantly going to Burger King today at this location I really feel the need to update my last review of Burger King at this specific location because it is now definitely at another level of awesomeness! Yes, in my honest opinion, it is now deserving of a five-star review. So I ordered the number one with fresh onion rings like I always do. Even though I don't mind waiting I do have to mention that I didn't have to wait forever in line, the food came out fast. What really matters to me though, was the quality of the food that I just had today at Burger King. My sandwich was not slathered in mayonnaise with wilted lettuce. No dripping wattery mayonnaise running down my sandwich making my bread all soggy, nope it was fresh and prepared the right way. My order of FRESH onion rings were so fresh that they were burning my mouth and I don't mind that at all. Customer service was professional, awesome, polite, courteous. And if you're reading this at 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning, let me just give you a heads up, they're open 24 hours now too! So yes, my old review for sure, for sure was in need of an update, and here it is... FIVE stars! Thank you BK for giving me today my money's worth!

I ordered a Whopper Jr with small onion rings at the Vernom Odom location in Akron, Ohio and I'm never stepping foot there again. I went through the drive thru, got my order and thanked the cashier, why we as customers say thank you instead of the cashier's not saying thank you is a little backwards these days but anyway that's not the reason for my low rating. I pull off with my order and while at the first light I pull out a cold wobbly onion ring, I turn back around, checked the rest of the onion rings, they were all cold and wobbly, I walk in to Burger King and I patiently wait while the cashier with zero personality completes the order for the customer in front of me. I hand her my receipt when she blankly asked if something was wrong, I tell her my onion rings were cold she looks at the receipt then spins around to fill a new container of onion rings when all of a sudden she decides to ask if those onion rings she was filling up the new container with had just came up, I'm guessing the response was no because she dumped them back in, spins back around and heads to the back of the restaurant I guess to put a fresh batch to fry, she comes back out to take another order for a gentleman that had just walked in, tells me there's a new batch in the fryer. After she takes his order she looks at the onion rings I brought back, still sitting on the counter and asked me if I wanted them, I tell her no cause of course who wants to eat cold wobbly onion rings? She leaves them there on the counter. The fryer starts beeping, she spins around again to fill up a new container of onion rings and puts them in my bag, without a word, and turns around. No "sorry for your inconvenience" or have a good day or even a thank you, after all I could have went to McDonald's right across the street instead, I could of went to Rally's or Church's? But because I see the competition between 4 different franchises, I take turns with each one every time I order out well I guess I can take this restaurant out of the equation. Cold fries, cold onion rings, cheeseburger missing the cheese or soda ordered with no type of sugar can happen and happens every day in every franchise but customer service is what makes up for human error or for staff who could care less about the quality of the food you're purchasing with your hard earned money, money you received in your paycheck from dealing with angry customers, customers you have to apologize to, almost every day, for the mistakes others did, mistakes you had nothing to do with.
